My wife was experiencing hearing problems, but was reluctent to get hearing aids. Our daughter convinced her to get tested. We saw Ascents add in our newspaper and decided to proceed. Probabley best decision and office and right time. Dr. Karagrigoriou was so very helpful. She explained every detail and my wife was so at ease it couldn't have been any better. I don't think you will find a more knowledgeable or helpful office or caring staff. So very pleased with everything. more

Using Ascent Audiology & Hearing is my second go around with an audiologist. I was first fitted with a hearing device about a year ago by another group, and it was very unsatisfactory. Dr. Elizabeth sensed my needs right away. I have unusual hearing loss, and she said she would work with me to see what could be done. She immediately began to assess my needs, and she put me on the right path to come up with a different style of hearing aid. I've been to see her four times, and she's coached me from the very beginning. She's been very thorough, and she articulates exactly what needs to be done. She's demonstrated the technology that is helping me with my hearing loss. She's a very caring audiologist, and she's very willing to work you as a patient! more

I saw an ad in our local newspaper for hearing testing and services. I have a condition called tinnitus. It is a constant ringing in your ears. The ad was for a new treatment for the condition. I called them up and made an appointment. I went in and everybody was very nice. They ran a few tests. I proceeded with the process there. They took measurement of my inner ears etc. I had about three more appointments to get the hearing aids fine turned. Today was the last one. I am very happy with the treatment and how they explained things in laymens terms. Everything is working fine. I go back in four moths to see if their is any change in my hearing. It has been a comfort me me to now be able to hear all of the things I had been missing. more

Ascent Audiology & Hearing is excellent! I've been using them for over ten years. Whenever I have a question, they always explain so that I understand what is happening. The hearing aid I got from Ascent Audiology & Hearing is better than my last hearing aid! When I watched TV, it was like they were talking in another language. But now, I hear a lot better! Before Barbara went to Ascent Audiology & Hearing, I did research online and found out there were very few audiologists in the area that did real ear testing. That was a keyword for me. When we made the appointment for Barbara, I had them confirm they did indeed do that. So we feel that Barbara was fitted very well and that the adjustments made with the hearing aid match her hearing loss. The staff was very friendly and dedicated. They answered all our questions, and they spent a good amount of time to ensure she was fitted properly for her hearing loss. They are excellent audiologists! more

I was looking to get hearing aids when Ascent Audiology & Hearing Holland happened to send me a flyer for their center in the mail. It came at just the right time. Their location is good. It's only about ten minutes away from where I live. I first went to them four months ago, and it has been a very good experience. The staff is all pleasant and caring. During my first visit, Dr. Elizabeth Gray-Karagrigoriou did a lot of testing that I had not gone through before. She prescribed the perfect product. I go back every six weeks or so for check-ups, and they always do a thorough job. Overall, the attention and care I get from the staff is excellent. I really can't say enough positive things about them. I am very pleased. more

There was kindness for my mother, who is 90 years old, at Ascent Audiology & Hearing Holland. Dr. Elizabeth Gray-Karagrigoriou is very professional. She is knowledgeable about both her business and how to approach someone who might have some resistance or difficultly with learning something new. She has a lot of patience. We have been there several times about my mother's hearing aid. They are very good about breaking the learning curve down for the person learning the new device. They are good about making sure the device will be an effective tool and making sure it will get used well. Their ongoing support for both the person receiving the hearing aid and their family is outstanding! Both Bill, the office manager, and Dr. Elizabeth are excellent to work with. And for someone who is looking for top of the line service and professionalism for getting a new hearing aid, I would recommend their service! I couldn't have had a better experience! more

I had needed hearing aids and when I went to see Dr. Elizabeth at Ascent Audiology, she found that I may not have needed hearing aids. There was a possibility that surgery might be a better route to take. Instead of selling me expensive hearing aids, she said that she would like me to see an ENT specialist. If he felt hearing aids were the road to take, we would go that way. He felt surgery wasn't right at the time so hearing aids would probably be better. I got back to her and I got the hearing aids. She was very extensive on our first visit. It took a couple of hours and she was checking all the different sounds, high and low, and after I got my hearing aids, I went to see her once or twice a week. Last week, I had a problem so I called her and she had me in right away. She told me that if i ever had a problem, to just call her to see if she can fix it and I did. I came in and it was great. She's very committed and where you need her or have a question. more
