TERRIBLE, LIED ABOUT WORK COMPLETED IN CONTRACT: My 70 plus-year-old mother in law in Myrtle Beach was taken for 9K from ARS. She had a contractual agreement to wrap her HAVC duct work and paid more to go thru Home Depot and ARS. They claimed it was completed when nothing was done at all. Nothing. Found out 7 months later when she called ARS to come out to help her figure out whey her electric bills were three times higher after they came the first time to do the work. They Lied!!! We had to catch them in their deceit to get the work she paid for completed. NO apology and NO money for the additional costs on the electric bill for 7 months. If you can't get under your home to visually see the work you paid for, hire someone to go take pictures to make sure they do what they say. Smarter...hire a different company. Be careful, they have a few Liars working there.\r EDIT /After this initial posting above: Reported to Better Business Bureau on Feb. 20, 2018 and BBB sent an email to ARS and their "" Customer Service"" Person (Shannon) called my mother in law with a harassing and intimidating phone call and questioned my mother in laws word, when we have pictures taken from one of there own employees showing that the work was not performed. This was the first she heard from a ""CS"" person. Didn't reach out to her until the BBB called and intimidated her. We will be reporting in full to the state of SC Ombudsman act regarding fraud and harassment. more

Awful service and execution. Incomplete work and terrible follow up. Ripped my family off of thousands of dollars. more

Jonathan did a good job and was very professional. He also informed me of things to look for in the plumbing areas down the road. A very outgoing gentleman. more

Debbie was great about setting up a Saturday afternoon appt. Dustin was very polite, indicated some issues regarding our leaky dishwasher he didn't think could be repaired. I asked him to provide specific info in writing since we had recently moved into a home covered by a ""homeowners"" warranty and I explained how it works. I later discovered he simply wrote ""see appliance dealer"", which does not work for a home warranty only an ""appliance"" warranty. I was told when setting the appt there was no charge to come out to look, then an estimate for repair would be presented and priced. I was charged for the call and there was no repair. more

Our hot water heater stopped working and needed to be replaced. We contacted ARS/ Rescue Rooter Myrtle Beach and they dispatched Danny Rose the same day. Danny was professional and very knowledgeable about the available products. Danny completed the install promptly and overall did a wonderful job. We will use Danny Rose and ARS/ Rescue Rooter again and would encourage anyone who needs service to do the same. more

Windell and Mike installed a replacement heat pump system. They performed the replacement in a day with no mess, and very little interruption to my work at home. The new system works better than the system replaced as they sealed all the ductwork in the attic. more

After attempting to call other local service companies for emergency ac repairs, none even came close to the responce as fast and as proffesional as the myrtle beach office of ars. After seeing how they responded, I bought a service plan and they even responded within an hour when I desperately needed them once. I have them coming tommorrow for a preventitive maintenance check. There's not much time for comparison shopping when you're hot water heater breaks and company is due tomorrow. Even if you have a favorite plumber, he or she may not be available the same day. ARS is a first-rate option. They have licensed plumbers and electricians who specialize in emergency repairs. Keep in mind that these folks are also available for home repairs at your convenience. Either way, you are getting qualified professionals who can respond in the same day. Prices are reasonable, and all work is guaranteed. There is a fee for any home visit, but same-day estimates are provided and it is your choice as to whether to proceed. Their employees are courteous and respectful of your home and property. They treat your problem as if it happened in their own home. While you cannot prevent an emergency home repair need, it's nice to know that ARS is available to get you through the crisis.
