Archer Pupies INC

I'm writing this reveiw today to let you know that in April of 1990 my husband and I purchased 2 mixed breed dogs from Archer Puppies and on Oct. 22, 2008 the last of the two passed away at home. His brother, unfortunately was put to sleep in July of 2006 due to bladder cancer. It is remarkable how long those dogs were with us, almost 19 years.That says a great deal about the store that sold them. I guess it also says a lot about the people that purchased them. We are heartbroken at the present. However, when we are ready to open our home and hearts to a new "friend", you can bet that Archer Puppies is where we will be going. Thank you for selling us such wonderful dogs. They have given us many years of wonderful memories we will never forget. more

I haven't purchased a puppy from Archer Puppies recently but the three puppies I did buy there were healthy and from real breeders - no puppy mills. They do not keep their puppies in cages, rather pens with the whole litter together. The place is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable/comparable. My female German Shepherd (AKC) is 12 years old and has had no health or hip problems. My American Eskimo (UKC) passed recently at 16 years old and also had no health problems - ever. We also recently lost our little terrier mix at the age of 17 years - no health problems with her either. I was able to contact the breeders of the shepherd and eskie to ask questions. I have been in the store over the years to look. It has recently been redone and is always clean - no smell but clean bedding. Although I am not emotionally ready to get a puppy at this time, I would definitely only purchase from Archer puppies. Their puppies brought me years and years of happiness. Pros: Healthy puppies, no puppy mills, helpful/knowledgeable staff. more
