I haven't purchased a puppy from Archer Puppies recently but the three puppies I did buy there were healthy and from real breeders - no puppy mills. They do not keep their puppies in cages, rather pens with the whole litter together. The place is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable/comparable. My female German Shepherd (AKC) is 12 years old and has had no health or hip problems. My American Eskimo (UKC) passed recently at 16 years old and also had no health problems - ever. We also recently lost our little terrier mix at the age of 17 years - no health problems with her either. I was able to contact the breeders of the shepherd and eskie to ask questions. I have been in the store over the years to look. It has recently been redone and is always clean - no smell but clean bedding. Although I am not emotionally ready to get a puppy at this time, I would definitely only purchase from Archer puppies. Their puppies brought me years and years of happiness.
Pros: Healthy puppies, no puppy mills, helpful/knowledgeable staff.
