Arbors at Cahaba River

I lived in this apartment for two years, and I could have never imagined all of the issues I ran into with the staff at this apartment, not to mention the awful facilities and numerous maintenance calls. When I first moved into this apartment, I loved where I lived. I loved the location, and the condition of the two bedroom unit. However, things turned for the worst, FAST. When I turned in the keys on move out day, I requested to speak with the Property Manager to make sure she had my forwarding address on file, and my phone number, in case there were any charges outside of my deposit. After having her physically pull my file to show me where my new address and phone number was stored and confirmed, I left feeling confident all of my things were in order. We have loved living at this place for the past 5 years. The amenites are great and the Management staff is efficient. It is pet friendly and our dog is like a member of our family. People here with animals are responsible with them which we appreciate. Never a problem with parking because it is ample. The location is pretty much ideal at 280 and 459. Overall high marks. more

What a wonderful complex. TOP SHELF! From the moment I walked in, I loved this place. The girls in the front office are very sweet and eager tp help. One of them gave me a golf cart tour of the grounds. I LOVE my apartment with its 9 foot ceilings, crown moulding and open spaciousness. The pool is fabulous. The only warning I can give is that they will screen to make sure you are a quality renter but I love that. I don't want riffraff as my neighbors. Just a great place to live. more

I'm usually a very optimistic person, but I simply cannot recommend the Parc @ Cahaba River. It's really hard to explain why I am dissatisfied with them, but two simple reasons are that they seem to always try to hit you with extra charges or delay your exit at the end of your lease (I know 5 people who have left and 4 had problems like this) and also the fact that their "total service lifestyle" is bologna. They do not watch your pets or notify you when packages arrive, as promised. And getting help with restaurant reservations and such? Forget about it...they're too busy right now. Like I said, I hate to be mean in a review but I would have liked to have been treated with a little more respect and better customer service. more
