I was there first tire customer and have bought several sets of tires since then and will do so when needed. All of mike's employees are friendly and experts. I have and will continue to recommend them as a great place to buy tires and receive repairs. more

My son recently moved to Chaska from the St. Michael area & was having a brake line issue. He was raised to support your locals when it came to business dealings so he called Arboretum Tire & Auto in Chaska for the brake line repair. The line was repaired at $171. Crazy enough when the keys were turned back over to my son, the car would not start. WTH?! So Arboretum diagnosed that the fuel filter had gone out, the tank would have to be dropped and this repair would cost approximately $700. So he called me and I suggested that we have the car towed to the shop that has been doing our car repairs back in St. Michael for more then 20+ years. The car was towed on Friday and looked at. The owner called my son and again inquired to what was wrong with the car. He explained it again that the car would not start. The owner said it started right up, but they would dig deeper to see if they could find anything. Today our shop owner called and said he cannot fix what is not broken. He cannot find 1 single thing wrong with the car. He saved my son $700 in repairs that the car did not need. So to you Arboretum, shame on you for trying to take advantage of a newby to you little city who was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and create a relationship with your shop. We would not recommend this shop period! more

I used them to replace tires because of a good price. I ordered an oil change at the same time. When I got there they recommended I also have an alignment done and my rotors fixed. I was told this would take 2 hours but I assumed a little longer because of the alignment. I returned 3 hours later and the alignment was not done. I couldn't wait any longer so I prepaid the alignment so I could come by another time and have it done, thinking it would be a 20 minute job like they said. When I left I realized no oil change had been done either. So I set up another appointment for the alignment and oil change and was told it would take up to 1-1/2 hours! That's a lot longer then I expected and I don't live nearby so I would have to sit and wait -- it's inconvenient for someone to pick me up (again) and bring me back. Because of that I decided to contact a garage in my town about the alignment. They could do it for $30 cheaper! I called Arboretum Tire to let them know I'd like a refund for the alignment charge on my credit card. They told me they can't refund me; only give me a store credit! Why would I want a store credit when I won't be going back there?! Poor Customer Service! more

I have had my vehicle serviced from you for the past 20? years and I just want to tell you how much I appreciate all the extra effort that you put into your job. From the time you started as Excelsior Amoco to Arboretum Tire & Auto it has been fun doing business with you. Every time I come in you know me by name and you take care of my car like it was your own. You are very knowledgeable, courteous and easy to do business with. I don?t have many businesses that I have dealt with for that many years and been happy to return. more

Had an oil change and they forgot to replace an ""O"" ring on my ""08"" Rav oil filter, lost four quarts which I had to replace, and thank God the motor didn't seize up. I bring the car back so they can replace the forgotten ""O"" ring. After replacing it and checking the level, they bring my car out and tell me ""it's ready"" and make no offer to compensate me what so ever. So I ask, ""what about the four quarts I had to replace and bring it to the proper level?"" Mike the owner asks if I have the reciept for the oil I put in, I said no, not on me, and he says, ""bring it in a we'll see what we can do"" It's a 65 mile trip, might cover the cost of gas. I said, I just saved you from replacing my engine and your questioning whether or not I really purchased it? who did who the favor here? And then when I asked for a reciept of the work they had just done, it says ""customer says he had his oil changed here"" so now all of a sudden they didn't do it, and I lied about that as well? My Rav takes 6 quarts, the oil change is for 5, so they had to charge me for the extra quart, which is fine except that extra quart was $20.00 bucks! I had problems before this as well and thought I'd give them one more try, almost cost me an engine, Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else! ! Cons: to many more
