Called to have service done on our washing machine. They don't seem to make appointments, just call you before they are going to come. Ended up having to wait until Saturday. \r The technician did remove a hair pin from the water pump but that did not fix the issue we had called about. He did not want to stay and make sure the machine progressed through the cycles and he did not know of a way to test it. We were charged $120 for a half hour of work and the issue was not even resolved. I would call and have him come finish the job but he seemed really confused by the auto-sensing and electronics of the washer, which I believe is what's wrong with it. The guy was nice enough but I can't recommend the service. more

Appliance Service Center of Raleigh is as good as it gets. I had a dishwasher that tripped a circuit breaker I thought was toast. Not only did the guy show up on time, he fixed the problem for a reasonable price and told me to keep the dishwasher because it was a good model, go figure! more

Excellent service, courteous and prompt 3/24/2012

We have used the Appliance Center for years and have found them to be professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. Telephone calls for service are returned promptly and often service calls are made the same day. We live near Cameron Village and know others in our community who use this business exclusively. Reliable, Honest, Dependable and Courteous 1/11/2012

I have been using Appliance Service Center for my home appliance repairs for at least 10 years. They have always responded quickly and courteously whenever I have an appliance problem. They have kept my 15 year old Sub zero in tip top shape. It is also a pleasure to have them come to my home as they are so courteous and honest. I would have no fear in leaving them alone in my home if I had to leave. I have dealt with many other companies and I find Appliance Repair to be the most reliable, honest, dependable and courteous company that I have every dealt with . It is so nice not to have to call an 800 number and wait for them to call you back. The owner always answers and sets up appointments right away. WORST SERVICE EVER 12/7/2011

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY This company gave me the WORST SERVICE EVER!! They came out to fix my washing machine. He came out on 11/23/11 and fixed it. It is now broken again as of yesterday 12/6/11. Which is only two weeks later. I had an unpleasant conversation with him over the phone this morning as he proceeded to hang up on my once and let me know that as the customer "I had to listen to him because he was the one that fixed my washing machine." I was trying to ask him if he could credit some of the $160 I have already paid to the install of the new part. He was not friendly and hardly wanted to work with me calling me over the phone a "demanding customer". So he finally told me that he would credit me $60 and that we could work with someone else which I am fine with because he was (a) hard to understand over the phone (b) never called or show up when he said he was going to (c) was rude and degrading over the phone. Because of this experience I will never call an appliance repair man again. It's worth the money to me just to buy a new one if I don't have to deal with jerks like this!!!!!!!!!! Washing Maching Repair 7/15/2011

I called this morning about my broken washer and he was there within the hour! He not only diagnosed the problem and fixed the washer quickly, he also took a look at my fridge and gave me some advise about how to keep condensation from happening and changed some of the settings. I would highly recommend him for any appliance care. more

Dishwasher/Refrigerator Repair 7/15/2011

Kaisser came about an hour after my initial call. He diagnosed my dishwasher and said the control panel was bad. He said the $250 it would cost to fix this was was not worth the repair due to the age of my unit and since I was also having occasion water leaks. He suggested I buy a new one and get a warranty, even though he does not do the warranty work. He then started looking at our refrigerator showed me where we needed to keep the bottom part clean to prevent future problems. As he looked inside, I asked him if he could fix the water leak coming from the freezer into the refrig(we had a container there to catch the water). After a quick look, Kaisser said the normal repair for this is $125 which he would do and disregard the $75 for the dishwasher. I felt like I got a good deal and was happy with the outcome. Kaisser seemed very knowledgeable and I would recommend him. more

I recently use this service for fridge and stove repair and they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied after the problems were initially misdiagnosed. more
