Appliance Repair Service Experts

I called the place where we bought our 18 cubic foot LGB refer/freezer, R C Willey over two years ago, to see if it was under warranty and it turned out it was warrantied for 5 years. I described the freezer problem as an air leak which was causing frost. The RC Willey customer service representative said someone would call. Later that night I got a call from an Appliance Repair Expert dispatcher who told me they would be out the next day between 12 and 5pm. The next day I got a call from the technician at 11:50am who said he would be at my house in 20 minutes. He arrived when he said he would and we reviewed the problem. It required emptying out both freezer drawers so he could remove them from the bottom of the refrigerator. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it in minutes. It had to do with alignment and adjustment. It appeared to me he had dealt with this same problem many times before. The technician's name was Carlos desoto and this is one guy who really knows his business. It was a pleasure to meet him and he gave me a really good feeling about his company. Thank you Carlos. Extremely frustrated with Appliance Repair Experts!! They are currently in my home for the FIFTH time.....yep! FIFTH time! We had 3 visits by a tech, who created more problems with our freezer than we had originally called about. Now, the President of the company is here for the 2nd time. He is condescending and rude. After having working in the customer service industry for 25 years myself, I can honestly say that if this gentleman had been an employee of mine, he would have been terminated for his responses to client issues. Apparently the original problem was created by a faulty filter, even though they charged us for a new electronics motherboard. After additional issues with the freezer and 3 more visits from the tech, we requested a supervisor. This man proceeded to tell us (after cutting us off numerous times when we were trying to describe the issues we were having with the freezer) that we needed a plumber. When he finally found the time to listen to the issues, he then said that it was a faulty filter. He has a trainee with him and talks to the trainee like a dog, ordering around and telling him to shut up! Incredible! The lack of professionalism and understanding of the issues is outrageous! I understand that some problems are hard to diagnose, but it is the rudeness and awful attitude (by the President of the company no less) that have me beyond frustrated! In my business, if we had failed a customer on 5 visits, I would have bent over backwards to ensure that customer was happy with our service, not just supply the service that was paid for in the first place!!! They are now going to charge us MORE to fix issues that they created! Incredible! This is after a no-show by the tech on the 2nd visit! I have seen previous reviews and surly these guys are good with simple repairs, but they certainly lack any type of customer service on their ""guarantee"" that the repair will be effective or they will fix it for free! And the way the President speaks to us is simply insulting!!!!! I will never use this company again! more

John from Appliance Repair Experts came to my home this morning and gave me a free estimate to repair my Dryer. It cost only $107.47 for the entire repair! This was the only company that provided a true free estimate. That means that it did not cost me anything for them to come out and diagnose the problem without any obligation on my part. I found this company to be very professional, courteous and truly knowledgeable. I will use this company for my appliance repairs from now on. Thank you so much for fixing my Dryer. more

I run a home for the elderly and my washer flooded my house. Needless to say I was so thankful when I called Appliance experts. two men arrived in full uniform with a company vehicle. they went beyond the call of duty and helped me to clean up all of the water and fixed my washer. I am so glad I called them. more

Had an appointment between 8-Noon Saturday. Logan called me and asked if they could send James between Noon-5 PM instead, so I agreed. THEY NO SHOWED! THEY DIDN""T EVEN CALL ME until 740 PM that night. There were no apologies or explanations for their delay! In our current economy, I am in complete disbelief as to why ANY company would allow such incompetence and lack of care for their customers! This is pathetic and I will make sure to let everyone know that this company is absolutely worthless!!! more

I was extremely impressed with Appliance Repair Experts. I called during the middle of the afternoon and Appliance Repair Experts sent someone to inspect and repair my refrigerator that same evening. The expert (Mike) was timely, friendly, efficient and did a great job! My refrigerator is generating cold temperatures again. The price was very reasonable and the service was fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again for any repair needs. more

I just wanted to stick up for Appliance Repair Experts. I have had numerous repair companies to my home, always with poor service. I have had the Experts to my home several times in which they always repaired my appliances the same day. There service is outstanding and so is there price. I bet if you had called another company it would have cost you more money and you would have had more headaches. I don't think your taking into account the cost for there insurances State and Federal fees and taxes wear and tear on there vehicles, the fuel to come to your house and the technicians schooling and certifications. I run a business in this town also and I know the costs are outrageous, but as unfortunate as it is they have to make some money to give you good service and stay in business. You state that you had good service and since you are the only person on this site that had any bad comment, may I ask you, did you ever contact them and express your concerns? How do you know that the technician did not make an error on your bill? With so many customers writing such great things about them and hmmm look here there even rated ""A"" by the Better Business Bureau. Maybe you should give them a call or have you done that? Okay, I'm done venting Pros: They are the best anywhere! more

l always get apprehensive when I have to call someone to repair an appliance because my knowledge is so low I think they may take advantage of me. I'm just looking for someone to trust whether it is a mechanic, plumber or appliance repairman. I called Appliance Rpair Experts today to check on why my dishwasher was leaking. They were great about coming out the same day if possible and was told that I would be billed $69.95 for the call if I didn't get any work done. Well the guy showed up and diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes, needed no parts, just some device in the dishwasher was not locked in right so he easily corrected it. I was thinking I would be charged the service fee since he was just at my house for 20 minutes max and needed no parts. However I was charged $110. I was shocked but paid. I just felt like it was another case of being taken advantage of . I really wish I could find someone in this field that was trustworthy. This doesn't seem to be the place. He did fix the dishwasher but I felt charged an unfair price. You can decide for yourself. Pros: person did show up, seemed friendly Cons: expensive, felt taken advantage of more

I was impressed at the professional and friendly attitude both on the phone and in person. Called for service on a dryer that was not heating. Vent ended up needing to be serviced. They were able to identify the problem and explain the repair that would be needed. I would not hesitate to call them again. more

I called these guys becuase I was having some minor issues with my stove and dishwasher. The guy who came out to my house was super nice and proffessional.
