I simply love going to Applewoods for every service they offer! Their relaxing and cozy atmosphere, great staff (all of them), amazing Aveda`s products (starting with a cup of their delicious tea...) and, finally, the most professional services makes me feel in heaven!\r At last but not least, there is Ivelisse, the artistic director and stylist who is that kind of super talented and passionate professional that when you meet is like finding a treasure!! more

Each time I am in the Weston area, I always manage to get a ""sport massage"" - that is, if I'm lucky and they have a slot for me. I heard these guys have clients from all the local pro teams around. Don't be surprised if you see a ""Dolphin"" or a ""Marlin"" at APPLEWOODS! And if you are lucky try to get an appointment with their massage therapists. more

I come from Europe and stayed almost 1 month in Weston.. I had the pleasure of finding APPLEWOODS and did a bunch of treatments while I was there. The massage was absolutely DIVINE, and coming from Europe where they have the best SPA's I have never had such a pleasant, well done, massage. I had a facial with oxygen, which left my skin impeccable. Finally my last visit was a mani and pedi, ..they were a dream.. they place a warm pillow around your neck which kind of massages your neck and relaxes you while you sit in a huge comfy seat (with massage settings as well).. all absolutelly fabulous.. the lady who did my pedicure sure knew what she was doing....I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.... more

Vine de Colombia a pasar unos meses en la Florida, mi cabello siempre me ha dado problemas, pues es muy rebelde, pero para mi agradable sorpresa encontre este salon, en donde me han ayudado con un precioso corte de pelo, ademas de un lindo color! gracias a este agradable salon he aprendido a manejar mi cabello, ademas de que tienen muy buenos productos. Went in for a partial foil. Was quoted $85 over the phone. Brochure states $45 for the same service. Had to pay an ADDITIONAL, unquoted $45 for my hair to be dried after my shampoo so I could see the final color. Went in thinking $85 was what the service cost, ended up leaving, crying, after my card ran for $145. Receptionist refused to call the manager and said I should of asked if there was a charge for drying my hair. Staff needs to inform customers if service is going to exceed quoted price. Very dissapointed. I feel screwed out of my money! Do not go here unless you're content leaving with sopping wet hair after your cut or color. more

My stylist is the best!!! Her name is Ivelisse Sant' Drevon, the artistic director of this salon, and her devotion for the clients and for what she does exceeded my expectation. Applewoods and Ivelisse treated as a queen, since I arrived they offered me tea, and then the consultation before they started my services, till the massage in my hands and my scalp during the shampoo, until I walked out with a great hair cut and color. Not only she was awesome, but I noticed how the other stylist were great as well and the manicure and pedicure area was very relaxing. I will recommend anyone to take the opportunity and experience the perfection of Ivelisse and her team mates, this salon is GREAT!!!! I came to this salon to get pedicures and was really happy so i finally decided to get my hair done. What a mistake. I came in for a consultation explaining i wanted to change my dark brown hair to a natural light brown (without brass/orange). When i came in for my appointment i waited 45min for the stylist then when he finally showed up I showed the stylist several pictures illustrating what i wanted to make sure he knew what i envisioned as a final result. Six hours later i walked out of there with brittle hair the color of my olive skin which turned bright orange in the sun light. I came back the following monday to see a different stylist since the guy who did my hair could not see me that day and i didnt want him touching my hair anyway. The stylist who saw me that day was really nice and agreed that the results were not the best and tried to fix it. Instead my hair turned out black!!! Before leaving i got the managers information as i felt $300 for dry black hair was unacceptable. When i called the following day the woman was ridiculous. She refused to refund my money. She told me one minute i was a liar and she knew i was happy because she saw me on the day of my original appointment then told me she couldnt comment on the stylist assuring me that he could give me the results i wanted because she wasnt there that day. Ultimately she hung up on me and never refunded a penny of the $300 I paid. Very unprofessional management. I will never in my life set foot in this place again! Cons: poor technique and even worse management more

I went to Applewoods Hair & Nails recommended by several friends and I found a really wonderful experience since the moment I came in. The people were friendly and kind, they gave me excellent service and I had the best hair cut and color in many years. I will continue using their services for as long as I live in Weston. I higly recommend this salon and thank my firends for telling me about it. Pros: Great hair cut and beautiful color Cons: No drawbacks more

I had called the salon to make sure they would take my daughter on time for her appointment for her homecoming updo. When we arrived my daughter wasn't seated in the chair until a half hour after her appointment which made her anxious. While she was trying to explain the style she wanted the stylist turned away from her to chat with other customers that were on their way out and did not pay attention. I stood near the chair to try and get the stylist to listen and was rudely told by the receptionist I had to move out of the way. I left the salon after the woman assured me she knew what my daughter wanted. My daughter called me very upset. The woman had totally styled her hair wrong and when she tried to explain it again they got frustrated with her and redid it but it was very unprofessional and a mess. I met her at home and she was distraught and crying. I managed to redo it myself. My daughter was much happier with what I did. When I went back the next day to the salon to complain, there happen to be another customer complaining about the same stylist running an hour late after they lost her appointment time the day before! I felt I was due a refund. The stylist first agreed they would refund my money but then the receptionist spoke to the owner who wouldn't speak to me and refused me a refund. They spoke about me in spanish not realizing I could understand. When I insisted they call the owner back and let me speak to her she was rude to me and refused to return my money. I will never step foot in there again! Pros: I am able to take my business elsewhere Cons: They have no concern for their customers. more
