Not only did the sales rep, Scott Appel, charge us extra for his mistake (he told us we previously had a heat pump when we told him it was an air conditioner -- then when the techs were installing the equipment, we had to pay extra from what was contracted since our thermostat wouldn't work with a heat pump -- he didn't even know what kind of equipment he was looking at! The techs put OUR FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP IN COMPLETELY WRONG! After two weeks of begging them to come back out because we could hear water running through our vents, they finally did. WE HAD 5 GALLONS OF WATER IN THE BOTTOM OF OUR FURNACE! It was awful trying to work with Scott Appel. He yelled at us and told us we were trying to get something for free. He gave us $150 back. That really covered the cost of missing two days of work and the concern for whether or not our equipment is even installed correctly this time. COME TO FIND OUT, HIS LICENSE EXPIRED IN 2005!
