They only receive one star because I can t give a negative one. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ANY DEPOSIT BACK FROM THEM......EVER!!!!!!\r They will make up bogus charges as to why they aren t giving the money back. If you do rent from them TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING!!!\r The property I rented from them was okay. The neighborhood was quiet. I had to move because I didn t need as much space as what I had. I cleared the property, had multiple friends over to help clean just to make sure it was immaculate. I had only been there for a year and was truly only there every other week so there was no damage. Now, as a single mom I needed as much of my deposit back as possible so we made sure you could eat off the floor! I requested from them a walk through upon relinquishing the keys-NEVER HAPPENED!!!! This was my first time renting on my own-I didn t think to get pics before I left. I kept calling to see when we could walk through only to be informed that it was already done. Okay, when do I receive my $900 deposit? Uh, no... based on the trumped up charges they have ME OWING THEM!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!! I WOULD RATHER BE HOMELESS.\r I have a friend still renting from them and they are continuously being RUDE and INCONSIDERATE to them. MOST HORRIBLE REALTY COMPANY EVER! more

There is not 1 single person in the entire company that is concerned with customer service. They, including the owner, are interested in YOUR money and how much of it they can get. I managed to get most of my security deposit back because I steamed my own carpets and replaced all bulbs and stove burner pans (if they are dirty they'll charge you to replace them). I moved out before the end of my lease and they had the house rented within a few days of me turning the keys over to them. I had to call once and email twice to get my prorated rent back. They do not care about the houses they manage, they don't care about the people they rent to. Avoid this place at all costs! more

Renter BEWARE this is not a company you want to rent from 9/10/2009

I lived in one of their properties for 4 years. I was under lease for the first 2 yrs, I was on a month to month after that point. Right after my 1st anniversary in the home & another repair that hadnt been made I got Ray Johnson on a call & he had the nerve to tell me that they were in no hurry to get the issues fixed. He informed me that per my lease if I have reported an issue in writing & it is not taken care of within 10 days I was within my rights to terminate the lease w/no penalty. Here are just a few examples of the issues I had w/their untimely sometimes nonexistent maintenance service. AC went out it took 2 weeks to get someone to repair @ 5 months to get the heating coil put in. Hallway flooded (multiple times) 4 months & 3 written requests to get fixed. They sent a plumber out due to a hallway flood plumber cut a large hole in the wall to make repair 15 mo. later still hole in wall. Soap dish off in shower. 4 yrs later still not fixed & they have mold growing behind the walls & coming through all the grouting in the shower. The City came to the home in May 08 & found a leak on the property. Notified Apex & let them know I needed a letter stating that the leak was fixed for the City. Repeated requests ignored and costing me a fine. Heating core burned out in oven ? 6 months never repaired. I decided to move. Sent them a certified letter in June 09' giving 30 days notice. The letter was signed for by B. Brewer. Each mo. for the last 3 mo. I got a letter stating nonpayment of rent for that month. Got 3 calls from Ray the 1st mo. after I moved asking why I hadn't paid my July rent. I told him I moved per the 30 day notice sent to them. He said he would notate the records & forward my deposit back to me as soon as they inspected the property. I got a second letter in August stating nonpayment for Aug. I called & left 4 voicemails for Ray but he never returned my calls. I got another letter in the mail yesterday stating that I had not paid my rent for Sep. Cons: Rude Customer Service, Nonexistant Property Maintenance more
