1) A critical element for me in working with a contractor is clear, complete and continuing communication and I'm sadly finding out this is no longer common. Communication with Apco was exemplary. 2)The other company I talked to was Home Depot. They would add insulation I didn't need in lieu of the house wrap. Otherwise, the product and services would be just the same but APCO was almost exactly 1/2 the price! 3. My cable TV would not work the evening the end of the house where the cable wires are was worked on I called Jerry the next afternoon just to ask if Frank had had to disconnect or move any wires. Jerry was coming to the house later that day but insisted on calling Frank right away to check on it. Jerry said if Frank couldn't find a reason and I had to call my cable company, to let him know the cost. If it had not been related to the siding job I would not have let APCO pay but I was very impressed that the offer was even made. When I got out of the hospital and caught up with Jerry's messages, he checked again to be sure cable resumed, which it has on its own. 4. I had a loose piece of siding trim on the garage. Apco had not installed it but was more than willing to do the repair, also. I'm nearing the end of my overwhelming list of unavoidable home improvements. If I weren't, Apco is now one of the few contractors I would hire without compare shopping. Thank you! more

Appreciate flexibility to do payment via mail instead of in person. Helps with work schedule. Gutters look wonderful! Installer took the time to place downspout trays. Downspout next to house to drain SW corner to NW corner is great. Appreciate quick response to do estimate, schedule and get the job done. Tom explained everything and was very considerate. Overall the project went well. The install crew did a good job but were difficult to communicate with as they did not appear to understand English very well. The day after the roof install was completed we had a good rain. We noticed a leak where water was dripping down through the stove exhaust pipe onto the stove and cabinets above the stove. It look two additional trips and a couple of days but it appears the install crew has the issue resolved. I greatly appreciate Jerry Myers immediately responding to the issue as I reported the leak occurrences, and making sure that the issue got addressed. more

Received 2/18 and you want it paid in full 2/19? By mail you get this probably Tuesday 2/22 and I hope to not incur a "late" fee *sorry - just realized you sent this to my son -explains why. Best company I have ever dealt with. Only company that did not ask for full payment until the job was 100% completed. I would recommend you to everyone - your the best. more

Even though the original order of windows came in white instead of "Mountberry Red" (not your fault as it said red plainly on the original order) Loyd immediately got it taken care of and the reorder came in quickly. We has some problems with deteriorated wood after taking aluminum capping off but Loyd and installers were absolutely great helping to solve problems and get everything perfect. The installers were so professional and timely and neat - could not be better! I am very pleased and happy with the great service and definitely will recommend APCO. more

Jayson and Aaron did a very nice job with the installation of the windows. It was one of the best caulking jobs that I have ever seen. My wife Laura felt that they were very friendly and professional. I had to make Vince aware of the issue I was having with Loyd. Background: Door was dropped while loading into truck on installation day. Unfortunately, Loyd would say he'd call me with updates, but I never got his calls. So I called him. Once Vince became aware of this situation, Loyd started communicated via email. Also, he apologized for the times he said he'd call me and didn't. The installers were very efficient and friendly - great workers! more

Steve took initiative by going around our house to check for windows problems when I called only for the patio door. I appreciate his work and he even educated me on windows and the proper care and how to remove/replace them. He's awesome. more
