Anytime Fitness

I am 52 years old and have lived in many different states and been a member of several gyms. Anytime Fitness in Duluth, GA (Peachtree Industrial Blvd.) is HORRIBLE!! DO NOT JOIN......THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY. I am a breast cancer survivor and signed up for personal training. I had 5 trainers because they CANNOT keep anyone. They are difficult to work with. The comments I would hear were ""money hungry,"" ""difficult"" and the word ""unprofessional"" were just a few repeated over and over. Go ANYWHERE other than ANYTIME FITNESS!! more

Anytime Fitness is a great gym. I come here all the time for a workout whenever I feel stressed. The facilities are wonderful. more

Anytime Fitness is a great gym. They're open 24 hours and their personal trainers always come to check on me if I need help. The membership fees are reasonable too. more

Finding a gym that's open late is very hard to do, so I like the fact that Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours. They have Saturday morning group classes that look fun, but so far I haven't had the chance to join any. The equipment is top of the line and the instructors are always ready to help. more

This branch of Anytime Fitness is my favorite. They have great amenities and their trainers are very easy to talk to about exercise routines. It makes exercising easier. more

Their gym is always clean and they're open 24 hours, which I really appreciate because I like to exercise before work. I shower and head straight to the office. Very affordable prices too. more

I love love love this gym! They have all the amenities I need and their trainers are very accomodating. They answer all the questions I have and help me set up some of the equipment that I need. Overall a great gym more

Anytime Fitness is up there on my list of ""places to visit regularly but don't have much time to"". I signed up with them because I needed to get fit. The few times I have been here, I have always been pleasantly surprised by the level of service they offered. The trainers are very nice and the shower room is always clean. more

I love Anytime Fitness! I go to their website all the time to check out new products and health tips. This particular branch has a very helpful trainer who has given me pointers and basically just been guiding me. The routine that he set is easy to follow and I don't feel as tired as I used to after a work out. Great place more

Anytime Fitness is the best best gym that I have gone to so far, and believe me, I have gone to many. Their trainers are very professional and try to be as unobtrusive as possible while still doing their jobs. I can relax here and join classes or simply exercise on my own. more

I like working out late at night and in the wee hours of the morning, so having a gym that is open 24 hours is important to me. I just don't find it okay that most of the lights were turned off when I got there, I had to ask them to open it. After all, gyms are supposed to be well lit to avoid injuries. When I came into the gym to do a walk thru, I was extremly happy with the fact the gym is constantly cleaned throughout the day, their are sanitized wipes to wipe off the equipment, and all equipment is neat/organized. \r \r I was introduced to the trainers as I did my walk thru and it was great that each trainer took the time to say hello and introduce themselves to me. There is nothing like coming to a gym and having that ""at home feeling"" where the employees know you by name. \r \r I would recommend Anytime Fitness in Duluth to anyone. Trainers don't seem to stay. Glad there are many Anytime Fitness gyms to workout even when I go out of town there seems to be one to workout in. more

I absolutely love the Anytime Fitness health club in Duluth! My wife and I have been members for quite some time and refer all of our frineds and family there. We wanted a gym that was close, conveinient, and not filled with all the hustle and buistle of the other gyms in the area. The staff there are so supporting of my goals and help every way they can. They know me by name and we absolutely love coming to see them everyday!\r \r My wife was nervous about joining a gym and this was the most comfortable place with the support and motivation she needed to get her back in shape. I became a member of AF because of the ""Anywhere Club"" access. I visited this club location on 4 different occasions in the evening because it is near my daughter's gymnastics facility, though very far from my home. (It is not my ""home"" club or where I go on a regular basis). The young lady who works the evening shift let me in the first time and verified my membership since I was a new member and my key fob wasn't linked nationwide yet (it can take 30 days or more for this to link I was told). She was very nice - she even gave me her business card to call her the next few weeks while I was driving there so she could make sure to let me in. \r I had a very different experience with the owner/manager John Foster last night. Again, my key fob did not work so he let me in but was not happy in doing so, not-so-gently took my key fob out of my hands, and walked away from me clearly very agitated at my presence. I followed behind him trying to explain that this was not my ""home"" gym but I had been here a few other times and my membership had been verified, but upon hearing that, he not-so-gently handed my key back and told me he would allow me in for now but to never come back. I told him that I was a paying member and he couldn't tell me that, at which point he told me he wasn't ""going to take my attitude"" and would be calling the police if I didn't leave immediately. He even went to the young female employee (who was orientating a new client I might add), ranted about something, and walked away. I reminded her that she had verified my membership but I would be happy to show them my ID again so they could verify. While retrieving my ID, John Foster told her he didn't care to see it and that she needed to tell me to immediately leave. I asked him if we could discuss this matter together as professionals, but he refused. Instead he very angrily ""hit"" the alarm button setting the alarm off then went to the phone to call the police. I was astounded at the entire situation and refused to allow this obvious hot-head to bully me so I got on a cardio machine and waited for the police officer to arrive. The officer explained to me that Georgia state law requires me to leave any premises if asked by an employee or manager...they have the ""right to refuse service"" in this state. I told him that I did nothing wrong and was a paying member in good standing but I understood the law so I left without any ""scene"". The officer told me I could sue civilly or could call the corporate office once we were outside together, and I apologized to him for having to respond to such a ridiculous matter. \r If every employee or manager of every Wal-Mart or McDonalds refused service to every customer who took a tone or looked at them wrong, they would have NO customers! I don't understand how someone with such poor people skills can be the owner of a franchise such as this. Cons: John Foster - owner/manager more

I work all over Atlanta so i go here when i'm in the Duluth area. Love the gym, the staff is great. Although i have never worked out late night i feel being open 24 hours really makes it convenient. Pros: Love the gym more

I can park up front, go in and get in a good workout in 45 minutes or less. Every time I go in there they remember my name and I even got a free personal training session as a birthday gift. Pros: Get in and out without the hassle more
