\r \r I started going to Antoine about 6 months ago after 8 years of looking for a great colorist in the south bay area. After a strong recommendation from the pickiest friend I have when it comes to her hair color I decided to give Antoine a try. I LOVE MY COLOR!! He changed my color to work with my skin tone and added extra hilights around my face - I get tons of compliments! I highly recommend Antoine. If you are considering a visit to Antoine's and don't have the privilege of a personal reference already, perhaps you may consider this as one. Antoine has been styling my hair for five years now. Ever walked into a salon and just wondered, ""What am I going to look like walking out of here?"" or ""Is he going to cruise through my hair like a doctor does in an 8.5 minute office visit?"". What I like is the personal care and ability for Antoine to understand how I want to look that day. He consults me when my own hair ideas are bad and executes when my ideas are good.. From the moment you walk through the front door all the way up to your first self style at home ... the experience of having Antoine take care of you is nothing short of pure pleasure! Antoine has an infectuous laugh but you also are aware of how seriously he takes his profession. The real test however, as you all know, is once you are home and getting ready to go out for the evening and ... voila ... your cut and treatment (in my case, full highlight) comes off perfect! I am a Leo, so I know what a difference a good vs. bad hair day can do to woman ... i'ts all good with Antoine!!! more

Antoine is fabulous! No matter how I feel when I walk into his salon, when I walk out I feel beautiful. His cuts are incredible and blonde highlights gorgeous (& believable: )!! So I have been getting my hair cut by Antoine for about a year now and it's one of the best places I have ever been. He does an outstanding job and makes your experience enjoyable every time. Landy is a GEM! It is so tough to find someone you can trust your mane to, well search no more Landy has a golden hand (I guess you can say she has the green thumb for hair). I have had my hair done a few times and after each visit I feel like a new woman. Landy has done all to my hair, dealt with stubborn grays, highlights, low lights, tried new colors and numerous hair styles (Long to short). I can honestly say that all of my experiences have been pleasurable. more

I just moved to LA and I am so lucky to have found Antoine! He's reasonably priced and took a lot of time with me to give me a great cut. I really enjoyed being in his salon - it's a relaxed atmosphere that treated me like a king. His staff brought me several beverages, and even put quarters in my car when my meter ran out. I highly recommend Antoine's. He even called a few days after to see how I was liking my haircut. He is a great find. I'm so happy with him I'm even going to get my sister to go see him! more

Today was my third visit to Antoine's and I finally found a salon after trying places all over LA. Landy colored my roots (very stubborn grey) for the second time and once again a great job with no banding! She cut my hair during the first visit, where she actually took the time to really consult with me, look at my hair, give her opinion and come up with a solid plan. She remembered, had my color ready, commented on how quickly my bangs were growing (which she promptly trimmed once my hair was dry) and really took care of me. From sitting down and being offered tea (Aveda blend of course), coffee or a soda or cucumber infused water (very posh for a smaller salon!). It's just the litte things that are really telling. I mentioned I was going on a business trip and she quietly place some travel shampoo and conditioner by my handbag. I also found out that one of the other stylists does threading! My second trip was to defuzz the eyebrows. Once I found that she was doing a great job, I included the cheeks and upper lip (since it can really SMART if someone isn't experienced). The prices are reasonable (important for those with high maintence color, like trying to keep the white stripe to a minimum. If they can tackle Emmy Lou Harris grey, then they can handle anything! more

I met Antoine through friends and he has been doing my hair since 2002. He is such a professional! He is creative and knows what looks good on you. I always get compliments from people after a new hair cut. Since I live in Orange County, I have gone to other stylist in an emergency and have always been disappointed. Driving an hour to get to Antoine's salon is worth it! I definitely recommend Antoine if you want what looks good for you! Pros: Ambience, Service with a Smile! and on Time! I found Antoine by accident 3 years ago, and now absolutely will not go anywhere else. I arrange my out of town schedule in order to fit a monthly cut in with Antoine. He is a master...I have never had one haircut that I did not love. Try him once, and you will be hooked. more

Antoine has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 6 years and it's always a great experience. His salon is relaxing and comfortable, and my hair always looks fabulous. I've recommended him to several friends and they all feel the same. The color (blonde of course!) is very natural and never looks dry or over processed. He listens to what you are looking for in a hairstyle and then makes suggestions. Antoine is also completely professional, while being fun and entertaining. I would recommend his salon to everyone. I have been going to Antoine for as long as I can remember (probably almost 10 years??).... and I have always loved my hair. I have recommended him to several of my friends, co-workers, friends of friends, etc. over the years. All of whom were thrilled and continue to go to him, and highly recommend him to their friends as well. One friend I recommended commutes down from west hollywood she is so happy with it. He knows what is current, and most importantly what will or won't look good on you and he is honest about it. Highly recommended if you want great hair! Antoine did my updo for a wedding several years ago and I started going to him for cuts and highlights three years ago. He is so fast with the foil and the color turns out great every time. Since I don't have a lot of time or energy to style my hair, he gives me a low-maintenance cut that I make look fabulous with very minimal effort. I've never been happier with a stylist. Also, the atmosphere of the salon is wonderful. Very relaxing and comfortable. Antoine is so nice and very skilled when it comes to hair. I have been going to Antione for 7 years and been commuting from Anaheim to do so. As a guy, I thought my hair didn't need the same kind of time and attention (especially what's left of it) as a woman's. I used to steer clear of places that had 'stylists' since I thought there wasn't really much to cutting hair like mine. I took the plunge and went to Antione and have been going to him ever since. His salon has a bright relaxing atmosphere and he is probably the most charismatic and fun guy I know. His hair knowledge and ablities are top notch. I've learned there's a LOT more to hair than just shampooing and doing a comb over. I will continue to go to Antione's for as long as I have my hair!
