I moved to MB a little over two years ago and found making the switch to the areas high end image could be a bit daunting. I frequented a salon in the area that was very professional and cold ... I went several times because I thought that things would improve and I appreciated the stylist talent. On my last visit to this salon I received what I consider the worst color job that I have ever had ... in fact it made me want to hide. I called said salon and stated my problem, but was told that they could not fit me in for a week or more to correct the issue. In a panic and feeling very low I searched city search for positive feedback on area salons. I called Antoine's on Friday evening and by Saturday morning he had called me back, eased my fears and set me up with Landy. Thank you, thank you is all I can say for saving the day and making me feel welcome and gorgeous again. Antoine and his staff are the best of what small town MB has to offer - loads of talent and plenty of charm! I can't imagine seeing anyone else now ... I've been a loyal customer for 7 years. No one colors, cuts, and styles better than Antoine! Antoine knows what works for your face and skin tone. I've had both short and long hair. I never worry that my cut and color will best complement my features. A visit to his salon is spa day for my hair. I leave feeling great. I'd recommend Antoine to anyone! He just did my hair again and I have to tell everyone, because he did another fine job. I've never met anyone with more knowledge about hair. Everywhere I go, people ask ""who does your hair?"". Antoine is the most creative, best looking, nicest, funniest, and talented hair dresser I've ever had the pleasure of letting touch my hair. If there were a fan club especially devoted to Antoine, I would volunteer to be president. Every time I go into Antoine, I know all I have to say is ""make me look good"", and he will meet and exceed all my wildest expectations. Every time I go in, he does something different with my hair that I didn't even dream could look good, but it does! He's great to talk to, and he'll make you feel like his best friend the first minute you're there. I hear he's also done celebrities' hair like Paula Abdul. Horrible! \r \r Paid about $300 and then had to go and get my hair corrected at another salon. I took pictures of how I wanted my hair to look. The end result was nothing like the pictures and looked cheap! \r \r I am in the media and can not have my hair looking like that! I came in again so that he can correct it and once again he did a horrible job and charged me again ! After the second time, I went to another salon that same day to get it fixed! \r \r I am NEVER going back!! more

I have been going to Antoine for years and as long as he is still styling hair he will have me as a customer. He does an amazing job for all your hair needs. He can cut, color, and style; he's got it all! I have moved out of the area, but I still make the effort to schedule my appointments with Antoine. I have tried other places when I felt I just could not make the 4 hour drive to see him, and all other hair stylists and salons come up short. Once you go Antoine, you'll never go back! And all of the staff is amazing! Friendly greeting when you first walk in, very attentive and friendly staff, and the most wonderful shampoos around. I would very highly recommend this salon! more

Antoine and his staff are the greatest! I have been going to Antoine for 5 years now, and 4 of the years u lived in San Diego, but I would make my trips to LA just to get my hair done! I use to drive 45 miles to Irvine but I discovered him when I asked a person that I did not know very well where she got her hair done cuz it was always looked fabulous. Ninfa Lam at Antoine's is a wonderful stylist and colorist -- great at figuring out the most flattering look for each individual. She makes sure the look is right for you, no matter what. Antoine and his wonderful shop are the best you'll find! He has been doing my hair for over 10 years. He does my daughters' hair, he does my friends' hair, he's done my son's hair! Antoine is an artist who has a sixth sense for what will look good on a client. To say I am picky, would be an understatement, and I have never been disappointed. If you are a BLOND, or would like to be, he is a MASTER. Have you ever felt like that snobby hairstylist cared more about themselves than you? Did you feel like you were paying for the shop's square footage instead of a stylist who focuses solely on you and what you want and need? If that sounds like your current stylist and salon, then peek in and give Antoine a try. I have never referred anyone to Antoine who was disappointed. I get compliments on my hair nearly every day and I do not have ""good"" hair. I have your typical stick straight, fine, thinnish, used-to-be-blond hair. Antoine manages to make me look so much better than I should possibly look. I leave there in a great mood every time. Even more than being a very gifted and masterful stylist, Antoine is an honest, caring person who pours his heart and soul into each one of his clients. I have known Antoine for years and have always considered him to be an extremetly gifted colorist and stylist - with a natural artistic eye. Let's face it, some have it - most don't! He took my basic boring blond (the one that every girl has) and turned it into the most beautiful color - and it is healthy and shiny. Strangers actually stop me to compliment it...and that is what we all are hoping for isn't it!! So I have referred many happy people to him. The thing about Antoine is...is that he genuinely LOVES to do HAIR. And it shows. He knows that if you don't look good, he doesn't look good. He takes time, and gives care, to each person he mets with, and can really brings the life back into dull, damaged hair. Antoine may serious about his hair, but he is HILARIOUS!! Always in a ""fabulous"" mood. His Salon is by the beach and is beautiful, with a zen-like ambiance...everyone who works there is warm and friendly....his assistant Meagan gives the best shampoos! Antoine is the GREATEST. Not only does he cut, color and style my hair so that it looks 20 years younger (I have white roots - and my hair looks like a natural brunette), he also does my entire family, including some difficult hair (bottle brush male with scruffy beard) and styles (my son's mohawk period!!!). I moved to Hermosa Beach 5 years ago...I have gone through COUNTLESS hair dressers until Antoine. Before Antoine I was never satistied with my cut. I always came out of the salon looking and feeling the same about my doo, then a friend recommended Antoine. \r \r I wanted a new look and I decided that I was going to get my hair colored for the first time. I was nervous but Antoine made me feel right at home. He did such and amazing job. I will never go to another salon in the south bay. The salon is so clean and airey and the help is AWESOME. She is not only a consummate professional, she is a warm hearted and insightful human being who knows when to be chatty, and when you want to simply mellow out. I also have an ex-employee who moved to the central coast 3 years ago, but still travels to the south bay every 6 weeks to get her hair cut and colored by Ninfa. more

So when my previous stylist left the business about 8 years ago they encouraged me to give Antoine a try. And I'm so happy I did! He is an amazing stylist and colorist ...
