A monopoly, but still a good choice 12/19/2005

Sure, Antietam Cable has a monopoly on the cable market here in this area. There is no other cable choice but Antietam. So we went ahead and signed up three years ago and have been pleased ever since. We have cable television and haven't experienced any problems with it. I feel that for the price we pay, it is definitely worth it. We also have a cable internet connection through Antietam. It is reasonably priced and the customer service is always there ready to help. Occasionally we've lost our internet connection, but one quick call to the tech line and we're back up and running. And the techs that answer the phones have always been friendly and helpful. I have never had a cable company that I've liked before Antietam. So even if they did not have a monopoly on this market, I'd still choose them. more

Only choice you have 8/3/2005

You have no choice here but to use this cable company or go with satellite. We had them when we first moved here because we didn't no any better. Way overpriced with constant interruptions. Customer service was the worst I have ever seen. Had cable internet service last place we lived but with them being the only choice they charged what they wanted for the service. more
