The worst restaurant I've ever been to 2/22/2009

This place is a joke. I just came back from there. I couldn't wait long for writing a review. I had a lunch buffet. Very few choices; terrible food; no meat at all, even chicken (its name was actually "pure vegetarian food") If I had known about it, I would never have paid 14 dollars for that terrible food. The worst thing about it was that **they were incredibly rude**. Never waste your money, your taste, and your beautiful Sunday!!! more

Good but not great 6/16/2006

I've eaten here several times and have had satisfactory meals. I feel that for the price, since Indian food is usually a lot cheaper, the food could be better. Don't get me wrong it's still pretty good. If you don't eat dairy make sure to let the waiters know and be prepared because service can be slow on a busy night. The parking is convenient and the Spring Dosa is prob. my favorite thing on the menu. For the money, I prefer India Sweets and Spices on Venice Blvd, near by. Great place to catch some Bollywood videos. more

Only South Indian Cuisine in West Side LA 4/15/2006

Annapurna on Venice is a branch of the Annapurna cuisine that first opened in Artesia. This is the only authentic south Indian cuisine away from Little India. The owner is a very friendly and always makes you feel welcome. The food is excellent. They have two TV screens playing Indian movies and songs. Two of the booths also have computers with Internet connection so that you can keep browsing while waiting for your order. Decent parking available. more
