The girls at this salon are very nice and accomodating, the service is exceptional. The head and hand massage are to die for,definately relaxes you. My stylist is absolutely wonderful. Would reccomend to any one and have. more

I got a Botanical scalp therapy from Leslie and it felt so wonderful. My hair tends to get itchy from coloring and it is very coarse. I recommend this for everyone who colors or chemically straightens their hair. more

Kaitlyn has cut and colored my hair 3 times, and it just keeps getting better. When I first visited your salon, I had damaged, long hair from a body wave I got at another salon. I also have a hand injury that prevents me from styling my hair in the best way possible. Kaitlyn gave me a shorter cut, excellent color, and products to improve the health of my hair. I haven't been this happy with my hair in years. She listens to what I want and adds helpful suggestions. Her talent and knowledge are excellent. I recently relocated to Oregon, and will miss her dearly. She put all of my style and color info in the system, so it will be available to a Portland Aveda salon. I am quite sure that I will be able to receive the same professional and knowledgable service here in Portland, but Kaitlyn is definitely one of a kind. I have given her name to two Newport News residents, and I'm sure they will be extremely pleased with her. I also had a facial from Helen that was wonderful, and improved my skin immediately. I am so impressed with your salon, and I will continue to visit Aveda salons in my new city. Thank you for your superior services and products. more

Enjoyed my experience getting facial. I had requested a particular facial, but when the esthetician saw my skin, she recommended something different cause of broken capillaries. Although this service was more expensive than what I had asked her to do she still only charged me for the lesser expensive service. Certainly gained my trust. She wanted to do what was right for my skin. I will be going back to keep up the results which were exactly what I wanted. more

I have been a customer at Animare for four years now. I mainly take advantage of the wonderful hair care, however, I've had great pedicures and massages there as well. My only complaint would be that often times I attempt to get a "last minute" pedicure and often times there is no nail tek working. They should work on accomodating walk ins... more

I went to Becca and received one of the best haircuts in my life!! I told her what I wanted and she went above and beyond my expectations and made me feel like a new woman!! From the moment I walk through the front door to when I'm leaving, EVERYONE that works in Animare makes me feel so welcome! Kelly, thank you for making me beautiful again. Erin (sp?) thank you for getting me there. Lonnie (sp?) thank you for your sweetness and ensuring you had someone help me get there! I came in feeling stressed and in a rush, and I needed a make over. Kelly said to me: "trust me", and I did. I am beautiful again with an amazing "sun kissed" highlight to my hair color, a stunning and gorgeous cut, and bangs that are shabby chic, and I look like a fashion forward model getting ready to don a runway outfit! The light neck massage I rec'd just prior to the highlights, set the stage for what ended up being an evening that evolved around me. I was taken in, felt like I was floating on a cloud. I have never seen such talent as I did with Kelly, and the confidence. She knew what i needed, she saw it and transformed me. Thank you Kelly! more

I was scared to death to have all my hair chopped off, but Annmarie took her time and did a wonderful job. I get so many compliments on my new look. Next time I will have no problem trusting her to cut my hair even shorter. more
