Animal House

We purchased an adorable kitten here 2 days ago. Although the kitten had ear mites, we were assured that this common problem was easily treated. We learned the worst today from our vet that the kitten is infected with feline AIDS - the FIV virus. Apparently neither Animal House nor the cat ""breeder"" bothered to confirm that they were selling a healthy cat. The vet said that the FIV virus is passed from the mother cat to the kittens. The Animal House contract states ""We offer no guarantee and are not responsible for any veterinarian bills."" Thankfully, when we returned the kitten, they refunded the price. I would never buy another animal here. Cons: They sell sick animals more

I bought a dog from Animal House back in the 90's. I had many problems and finaly died at age 3. things obviously haven't gotten better. My son bought a dog from there, dispite my protests, and at the first vet check it was found that she needed open heart surgery. Animal House told them to bring the dog back and they would replace it. Yeah right...it would have been a death sentence. Rather than buy a dog from a pet shop and continue the for profit over breeding of animals, go to a shelter and adopt! more

I purchased 3 dogs at the animal house and 1 cat ! My first baby was a maltipoo . I named her Molly she is Pros: You must sanitize your hands before touching a pet witch shows they care. Cons: none at all! Everyone was so nice and helpful! more

I purchased 3 dogs at the animal house and 1 cat ! My first baby was a maltipoo . I named her Molly she is sweetheart very well behaved and very affectionate,she loves to sit on my lap. She loves to be held like a baby and to be given a tummy rub at the same time! She is such a joy ! I was so happy with her I decided to purchase a Scottish Terrier for my mother here. My mother is thrilled with her she is another great dog! I later purchased Chloe a Bichonpoo and Whitney A persian cat here,It was another home run!!! Chloe is another lap dog and listens very well. She is very smart and was easy to train. She aims to please and if she is not on my lap she is right by my side. she is protective of me but is never mean to anyone. If a stranger comes near she will watch their every move and stick like glue to me. My persian Whitney is very sweet,she loves to be brushed and she will wait at the door for you, Love,Love Love this place.
