Live near here, go here. Dr. T & ABC Animal Hospital saved my cat's life. Reading some of the negative reviews, your pet did not need a good vet, it needed a better owner!! We were first-time customers and ABC treated us like family. We came in on an emergency appointment made earlier in the day; were greeted and Haley was treated immediately. Emergency surgery was necessary to remove a large tumor in her uterus. Dr. T would not wait and easily explained what he would do to treat her, while exuding complete confidence in his ability to do it successfully. He would start the procedure at 12:30 a.m. and call w/ results afterwards - which he did upon completion. Listen, they saved my cat's life when others would have chose to sleep. What else can I say, they are in a league of their own. more

I have gone to so many different animal clinics in an attempt to rid Buster's cherry eye, to no avail. I had his cherry eye tucked in twice and it always came right back out. I was on the verge of giving up when a neighbor recommended ABC Animal Hospital and I thought I might as well just give it a shot. Buster has been doing great ever since and his cherry eye never came back!!!! I am so pleased with the results for Buster. I have read some of the previous reviews and I was surprised to see such bashing of the staff at the hospital . I thought they were very supportive and helpful. The doctor was a heck of a lot cheaper than previous doctors I had taken Buster to and his work seems to be the best from my personal experience. more

both of my pets -- cat and dog have been dr. tufaro's patients for over 4 years now. they are both around 13 years old now, and have had numerous problems over the years. dr. tufaro was been great through it all -- he's performed surgeries on both, always been accessible and helpful and always treated both me and my dear pets with compassion and respect. just a week ago, i came home to find my cat laying on the floor, not really moving or doing anything. i called dr. tufaro through their emergency service and he immediately came to our aid, despite the fact that it was already late and that it wasn't quite clear what was wrong with my cat...\r a week before that my dog was having trouble moving, like i said she is quite old, i came in with her and we discussed the possibilities for her care. a shot and some meds later and she was doing better. this is a tough time, but i feel i have someone helping me through it and hopefully we will be able to make the right desicions for my dog.\r i would recommend abc animal hospital and dr. tufaro in a heartbeat and i am very thankful for the care and service my pets and i have received there over the years. more

I have been taking my dog, Coffee, to Dr. Tufaro for several years and have always been pleased with the service and care provided. Dr. Tufaro is very knowledgeable and has my mine and my Coffee's best interest in mind. The staff is very nice and loves animals which makes me feel good about leaving Coffee in their care. I have also seen a woman doctor, Dr. Dalibard, a few times and she was great as well. I highly recommend ABC Animal Hospital to anyone who is looking for great veterinary care. more

I came to ABC animal hospital in 2005 when my dog ate a bunch of chocolate. Dr. Tufaro(I think that's how you spell it) treated my dog. Although a tad bit eccentric he really seems involved in what he does. He was very thorough in his treatment of Binky and he wound up saving Binky's life. I found the prices reasonable compared with other animal practices and the wait time was your standard wait time. I would recommend this vet because I felt confidant leaving my dog here and he is alive today. Pros: worked quickly to access my dog's problem and treat her more

I walked into this clinic without an appointment because i had just found a swelling on the back of my dog's\r rear leg. The doctor explained that this was a swollen lympth node and that multiple lympth nodes were affected. The doctor recommended a biopsy be done. My dog Brutus is an 8 year old rottie and not that easy to work with but this was not really an issue. The diagnosis came back as canine lymphoma. Dr tufaro discussed the various options with my boyfriend and I and also recommended we see an oncologist\r at the animal medical center for a second opinion. We decided to do chemotherapy with doctor tufaro because of the convenience of getting to the clinic and reasonable price---the clinic gave us a payment plan which was really helpful. My dog Brutus is now eight weeks into therapy and doing exceptionally\r well. We will always be grateful to dr tufaro and his wonderful assistants for the gentle and knowledgeable care they provide for my dog. Pros: doctor is knowledgeable-----staff is personable Cons: clinic can get very busy----if an emergency comes in, you may have to reschedule your appointment. more

The medical treatment and services provided by Dr. Tufaro and his staff has been stellar. Dr. Tufaro has taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and I am quite satisfied with the care he has provided. He certainly takes the time to make your pet feel at ease as well as answering any questions and concerns that you may have. I am also grateful that he took on the care of my mom's elderly dog and he always returned our calls promptly. Additionally, he has by far the most reasonably priced practice in the area. I am confident that his practice will continue to flourish. more

I brought in my cat for an exam and the vet suggested that I do a dentistry. I didn't even know that the teeth were bad, but she actually had a lot of tartar and gingivitis. He offered to do it the same day! When I picked up my kitty the vet assistant was very kind and took her time to explain how to brush the cat's teeth. The price of the dentistry was cheaper than most places and I was very happy with the service. I strongly recommend this vet.\r \r Pros: good prices, caring staff more
