Worst

Animal Emergency Room provided me with was is without a doubt the worst veterinary care I have ever seen or received. The staff was extremely rude to me and had absolutely no beds...

Great place, highly reccomend 11/25/2013

--- Pros: Everything except for their hours, but they said they'll start being open 24/7 next month. Cons: Right now they're only open from 6pm-9am. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/6/2013

\r Very Disappointed!\r \r I brought my cat here cause he wasn't urinating and was told the exam is $65, then they told me they needed to do more testing and the cost would be from $600-$700. The female Vet suggested the procedure was routine and my cat should be okay to pick up the next morning. I asked her since he is older if I should consider putting him to sleep instead, but she suggested against it and made me feel as if the procedure would be no big deal. To make a long story short, Let me just say, I had to end up taking him to another hospital down the road the next day and was called at work early afternoon to tell me he is dying and I told them to put him to sleep to prevent anymore pain and suffering.\r \r I think sometimes these vet clinics and hospitals take advantage of our emotional attachment and love for our for pets and use that to increase their profits, which is very very sad. Because now, I am out approximately $900 and no longer have my cat. I applied for credit and was approved for several thousands of dollars when I first arrived at the hospital and I think that may have prompted the Vet to persuade me to have expensive procedures when maybe she should have agreed with putting him to sleep instead, considering the results of the blood tests and his age and the chances of this type of procedure going bad. \r \r Some information regarding his blood tests, that I feel was important, was not given to me by the Vet on my initial consultation at The Animal Emergency Room and I didn't get the info until I spoke with the Vet at the other hospital when I went to pick him up for burial after work.\r \r I would definitely suggest you consider going to another Animal Hospital. more

Awesome Facility 4/24/2012

The animal emergency is so much more efficient than any hospital I have ever been to. We were just here and saw Dr. Buck who I was very much impressed with, but every vet we have seen here as been equally commendable. You guys are awesome. more

Very kind and caring 4/11/2012

I have been here twice now. Both times I have had very thorough service for my pets. The staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything step by step. I wish I lived closer so they could be my regular vet. Pros: null Cons: null more

There when you need help! 9/5/2011

My dog had a wierd eye condition going on for a couple of weeks. It really got bad over the Labor Day weekend when, of course, my vet was closed. more

Terrible 4/1/2011

Animal Emergency Room provided me with was is without a doubt the worst veterinary care I have ever seen or received. The staff was extremely rude to me and had absolutely no bedside manner. They required me to pay for their estimated treatment up front, then, after taking my money, just left us there for several hours with no treatment. When they finally got around to my dog, they did not have the medications she needed. Furthermore, they performed treatments not in the estimate and without my consent while they had her somewhere in a back room. Livid, I left, with no medication and a dog who was quite literally in worse shape then when I arrived. I ended up having to take her to another vet the next day. I will never take any pet back to this clinic. more

You don't want to go here 5/4/2008

I decided on a Sunday that I shouldn't wait until Monday to take my cat to the vet for an abscess I had found on his leg. We called and they said the visit would be $65. I thought with treatment this would most likely run me $150 to $200. Wrong, they came up with an estimate of over $400 without x-rays and over $500 with. I left minus treatment and lighter by $65. I wouldn't recommend going here unless it is a dire emergency, and I'm not sure anyone could afford to even if it is. Pros: hours Cons: price more
