\r Very Disappointed!\r \r I brought my cat here cause he wasn't urinating and was told the exam is $65, then they told me they needed to do more testing and the cost would be from $600-$700. The female Vet suggested the procedure was routine and my cat should be okay to pick up the next morning. I asked her since he is older if I should consider putting him to sleep instead, but she suggested against it and made me feel as if the procedure would be no big deal. To make a long story short, Let me just say, I had to end up taking him to another hospital down the road the next day and was called at work early afternoon to tell me he is dying and I told them to put him to sleep to prevent anymore pain and suffering.\r \r I think sometimes these vet clinics and hospitals take advantage of our emotional attachment and love for our for pets and use that to increase their profits, which is very very sad. Because now, I am out approximately $900 and no longer have my cat. I applied for credit and was approved for several thousands of dollars when I first arrived at the hospital and I think that may have prompted the Vet to persuade me to have expensive procedures when maybe she should have agreed with putting him to sleep instead, considering the results of the blood tests and his age and the chances of this type of procedure going bad. \r \r Some information regarding his blood tests, that I feel was important, was not given to me by the Vet on my initial consultation at The Animal Emergency Room and I didn't get the info until I spoke with the Vet at the other hospital when I went to pick him up for burial after work.\r \r I would definitely suggest you consider going to another Animal Hospital.
