If you love your pet stay away from Dr. Gordon. He's only interested in money, not in helping animal. I took my 16 year old Fluffy to him with several medical problems. He was only interested in talking about his 80"" TV. He just said, ""what do you want, she's an old cat. I had to demand he should do blood work. He wrongly told me everything showed normal. After a few months I went to Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge. Wonderful office. Great dr, Dr. Ibrahim did proper blood work which showed kidney disease. Now with proper treatment and honest caring for animals my baby is doing much better. STAY AWAY FROM DR. GORDON. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. more

THIS VET KILLED MY DOG 11/25/2012

I would absolutely advise NO ONE to go to this veterinarian. His disposition is absolutely disgusting, he is degrading, impatient, and rude about answering any questions I had about my dog. He is money-hungry, grubby, and had the audacity to tell me on the phone when I called up that I owe him money and I should come with it today. Just when things can't get any worse, my Chihuahua had an issue with his stomach where he needed immediate attention, and instead of sending him off to get a sonogram THAT day when the dog was weak, lethargic, and not moving, he wanted me to take my dog home and wait another day and bring him back the following day to him probably figuring that he would make more money off of the case and get the remaining $50 measley dollars of a balance that I had. When I knew he clearly was incompetent to take the case on any further, I rushed to take my dog to get a sonogram where he died in my arms, since Dr. Gordon waited too long to assist him CORRECTLY and wanted more

They saved our cat's life 1/14/2011

Dr.Robinson ,and his assistant Laura are lifesavors.They recently saved our cat Joey"s life, by promptly and efficiently diagnosing a urinary blockage.If it werent for them Joey had 48 hours or less to live.This was the first day Joey exibited any discomfort,and we were able to bring Joey right in without an appointment.They both immediately advised us to go to the animal hospital ,where Joey was admitted , and ultimately his life was saved. Dr Robinson also saved my cat Fluffys life when she had an abcess on her neck.a couple of years back.It is beyond me why those individuals that made those insulting comments on this sight in an attempt to defame 2 wonderful and caring persons ,would even be allowed to have their insane comments printed.Having an opinion is one thing ,but trying to degrade and insult someone is another.Some people sue for comments like that.Its called defamation of charactor. more

Excellent vet -- the doctor and his assistant take very good care of the animals. I trust them implicitly. Place is small but they take great care of the animals and are very concerned. more

I will never take my 2 dogs anywhere else. Dr. Gordon is one of the most fantastic vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My shih-tzu will not let anyone near his nails except Dr. Gordon. I won't bring my dogs anywhere else! You should bring your dogs here! more

It is very difficult to find an avian vet in this area. Dr. Gordon has treated my birds for over 5 years. He has always been spot on with the diagnosis and treatment. more

DOG HATER DR.GORDON KILLS HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?!!?!??! 2/6/2010

THE PEOPLE WHO PUT THE BAD REVIEWS ARE NOT EXAGGERATING!!! THE PLACE IS UNSANITARY AS SMELLS OF URINE FILL THE YELLOW STAINED WAITING ROOM. THE FRONT DESK CLERK ALWAYS HAS A BAD ATTITUDE WHENEVER ANYBODY COMES IN!!! IT'S LIKE SHE GETS ANNOYED WHENEVER SOMEONE IS AT THE DESK ASKING FOR HELP OR SIMPLY COMING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! THE VETS THEMSELVES ARE INEXPERIENCED AND IS ACTUALLY AFRAID WHEN AN ANIMAL SHOWS SIGNS OF FEAR AGGRESSION!!!! DR. GORDON GAVE MY 8 YEAR OLD PITBULL A DOSE OF SEDATIVE (TO PREP FOR AN XRAY OF HER LUNGS) AFTER HAULING HER (67LBS) ON TOP OF THE VET COUNTER. MY PIT WAS ALREADY SICK AT THE TIME AND WAS VERY WEAK. ON TOP OF THAT, HER HEART BEGAN BEATING FRANTICALLY BECAUSE OF HER STRUGGLE AND REFUSAL TO BE LIFTED ONTO THE COUNTER. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT HER ONTO THE COUNTER, SHE WAS STILL TRYING TO FIGHT AND STRUGGLE HER WAY OUT, THUS CAUSING AN EVEN MORE FAST-BEATING HEART!!! WITHOUT TAKING THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HER HEART WAS BEATING FAST INTO CONSIDERATION, GORDON JABS MY PIT'S ARM AND ADMINISTERED WHATEVER THE FCUK WAS IN THAT MEDICATION AND KILLED MY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD TO WATCH MY FIRST BELOVED DOG OF 8 YEARS DIE IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE FOUND OUT WHEN HE CAME BACK INTO THE ROOM WITH THE SYRINGE TO TAKE HER BLOOD, HE FOUND THAT THE BLOOD WASN'T FLOWING INTO THE TUBE AND BEGAN TO ADJUST THE RUBBER BAND ON HER ARM EVEN TIGHTER!! STILL THE BLOOD WAS NOT RUNNING INTO THE TUBE AND THAT'S WHEN THE FCUKER TOOK A LOOK INTO HER EYES AND SAID, "OH IT'S GONE." OH, IT'S GONE!?!?!!??! NICE JOB CRAZY PSYCHO DOG KILLER!!! Find another vet... 5/27/2009

I have been coming to Dr. Gordon for a few years, but it was never an emergency. Suddenly my 4 year old dog got sick and Dr. Gordon was so inpatient and in a few emergency visits still failed to diagnose the problem. Instead he kept giving the dog "booster" shots which just masked the symptoms and finally my little girl was rushed to an emergency clinic where she died. During my last visit to Dr. Gordon as I was nervously telling him the symptoms he interupted me and started telling me that the screen on his laptop at home is not lighting up and has that ever happened to me!!! more
