I don't recommend This place at all. I bought A truck from Andre gave him $400.00 I was going to make payment he said that was ok. i had it two months it broke down He come and got it. Andre said he will fix it I was like ok cool. i called one week later he said it will be done next Friday I was ok with that. Its been 4 months later never heard back from him I've text his phone and called up to the shop no one knows what's going on. I'm over the lost of my money and the truck but I'm not over him leaving me without A vehicle more

We are new in town and needed work done to our pickup. The a/c was blowing cold air on the driver's side and hot on the passenger's side and as the temp was over 100 degrees, it was very uncomfortable. \r \r \r We paid a little over $100 to have them look at it to give us an estimate of what was wrong. After letting us know what it would take to repair the truck, we were told it would take about 24 hours and to bring it in on Tuesday, which we did.\r \r \r After hearing nothing from them on Wednesday, we called and were told that there was a problem with the repair. We asked what the problem was and were told that none of the mechanics or Andre were there to answer the question.\r \r \r We called back on Thursday and were told the same. Friday we were told that they had begun the work on the truck but it wasn't finished. Saturday we were told that the mechanic was unable to come to work that day due to a family emergency.\r \r \r Monday, we decided to just go to the shop and skip the call. When we got there, they had just begun to work on the truck and we found out that they were putting friends of the owner in front of our repair so I had been without a vehicle for almost a week for no reason other than the owner had friends who were more important than my repair.\r \r \r If the dash had not been pulled out of the truck at this point, I would just have demanded the truck back and gone elsewhere, but with the dash out, we had to wait until the job was finished. We finally got the truck back late Wednesday. We were told that the mechanic had to take it and check to be sure that everything was done right and working properly. There were no parts needed, we were charged almost $500 on top of the money we spent to have it checked and the first time we took it out it was still not working properly. It is better, but there is still a significant difference between the driver's side and passenger's side with regards to the temperature. The volume of air was slightly better it seemed. \r \r \r We will not take it back to them to have it fixed properly as we have no idea how long they might have it should we leave it again and have no confidence that it will be any better a second time.\r \r \r I would not recommend Andre's Automotive to anyone and will not be back. more

sloppy work and bad attitude and high prices 3/20/2011

Well got my car fixed there because I felt I had no other choice and at first felt like it was the best choice. The lady at the counter was courteous, but Andre himself can take a few classes in customer service. Especially when he askes a customer if he would like to step out back and settle the problem. My cars breaks are acting up now, and its a problem with the same side that broke. Which after knowing that my car is a rust bucket and only has water in its raidiator you would have thought that they would have seen a problem with them if it was caused by the previous problem. Well it seems as though they may have not purged the system after placing back the breaks. The CV joint boot on that same side wasnt even placed back the same way it was before they repaired the car. It is missing a small rubber seal that goes on the end of it and the clamp wasnt tightend and was just left there like if they forgot or were just careless. They replaced a part that even though it was needed we were never told that they were going to replace it, and took it upon themselves to do services that even though for ""safety"" ( their words) still cost you money in labor which totaled a whopping $500. This seems to be an often occurence for Andre since it seems were not the first he seems to take advantage off. In the end the police came and laughed and joked with us while Andre accused us of running off with our car although he was the one who took the car out of his lot himself and left it running. The police noticed this and realized that we were just angry customers and they confessed they would be too. We cant go back there again but its not like we would anyway. I hope your car doesnt breakdown anywhere close to these guys, and if it does call Hendersons and get it towed somewhere else. Oh and if you do get towed here pay for the tow apart cause we were almost screwed out of $10 more if we wouldnt have called the tower and make sure if was $73 and not $83. more
