Andante Day Spa

I have been going to Andante for over ten years. Angie is my angel. I must say though, the new(er) receptionist is the WORST. Unlike most woman, this gal couldn't multi-task to save her own life. I have been put on hold forever then she forgets what the call was about. I am told I would get a call back no longer than 15 minutes. NEVER got one at all. Not once. Not twice. Try three times. Either she needs to be properly trained or fired. To need a treatment for relaxation, she certainly gives you a reason....to go somewhere else!!! more

I highly recommend the body scrub and spray tan service. I have fair, sensitive skin and was worried about how my skin would react but my skin has never looked better. For those looking for a natural glow...this is the place to check out. more

I treated myself to a wonderful morning at Andante Day Spa - Nashville, TN. I enjoyed the Sauna Treatment, Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy Body Polish. The experience left me feeling like a new woman. I was welcomed , pampered and taken great care of from the moment I entered the door. The lady who applied the Aromatherapy Body Polish was a delightful. *Tanithia's massage* was wonderful and she was attentive to the detailed information about my body. What a team of professionals!!! I will be scheduling the services again and I will be requesting the same ladies. Thank you all more

My fabulous husband gave me a swedish massage & express facial as an anniversary gift while I was in Nashville (I live in Kansas City.) Oh my goodness, it was fantastic! Tanithia's massage was right on the money. She took the time to work on my trouble areas instead of treating me like every other customer who may have different needs. My time with her was very relaxing, pleasant, and enjoyable. A couple of the spots were *slightly* uncomfortable in the process, but I knew it was for long-term good. I left feeling like Gumby in a puddle! I do not have a sore muscle or tweak anywhere in my body!!! That experience was followed by a fantastic facial from Jacqueline. Once again, I melted into heaven for a few minutes. My skin feels better than it has in years (it's like butta!) more

I couldn't find the place to write a review for Anita Allen, who does the manicures and pedicures....I believe she is an independent business operating within the building, but I could be wrong. more

All I can say is that this is a great escape! The staff is so professional and accomodating. I look forward to Tanithia's massage! She listens to your requests and delivers! I will definitely be going back! more

I was given a "spa day" as a birthday present and definitely enjoyed my time at Andante. In addition to a massage, mani and pedi, I was also given some time in the sauna which was (to my pleasant surprise) actually located outside right off of their lovely courtyard. Jacqueline Peek, esthetician, gave me a wonderful facial. It was very relaxing and informative. I was actually happy that she didn't painfully begin squeezing pores, as her touch was very soothing and it included a bit of a facial massage. The products felt great and I especially loved the steaming towel that she wrapped around my face, for each treatment she cleaned off. I almost fell asleep. I would recommend her - very knowledgeable in her field. Pros: Very relaxing, very informative Cons: none that I can think of more

If anybody is looking for a spa this is your place! First off I love the people here! The front desk is so polite when I call and they always try to accomodate the times I need. I also wanted to mention how awsome Angie is! I started going to her for my facial waxing and she is amazing. She is very careful with my skin and is concerned with the care of my skin. She has given me tips on how to take care of the discoloration in my skin. One example of how great this place is: the other day I had an appt @ 1:15 but something came up the night before and I needed to get in earlier but the spa was already closed by the time the emergency came up. I went into the spa when it opened and ask if i could get in sooner. They called Angie and she said she was on her way. She got me in before her first appt. The best part was that she took her time and did not even rush me through. I love this place!!! Pros: Angie Cons: None more

I went to Andante for my first Brazillian wax. I was extremely anxious but Angie put me at ease immediately. She was so easy going and made me comfortable with what is a less than comfortable situation. I left the first time feeling sure that I would be back regularly. When I called to schedule my second session, I had no problems whatsoever getting in. I was so confident with Angie's services that I decided to schedule a microdermabrasion. I received a call one day prior to my appointment stating that my appointment was accidentally scheduled on a day that Angie did not work. When I asked if anyone else was available at that time I was told no. When I tried to reschedule, every date that I suggested there was no appointment available. I ended up telling them to just cancel the appointment and the person on the phone acted as if that was my problem, not theirs. When I called a few weeks later to schedule another waxing appointment , again, every date I asked for I was told Angie was unavailable. There was no effort to accomodate me with another person or to suggest a time she might be available. While I have found Angie to be delightful, I have found that the front desk staff has been deplorable. As much as I adore Angie I have not been back. Pros: Angie is amazing Cons: Interacting with the front desk is a nightmare more

I have loved Andante since I discovered it. Angie is a teriffic facialist (the products she uses are great), and Lori is an exceptional massage therapist. I'm always made to feel welcome, from the cucubmer iced water on my way in to the person who asks how my service went on my way out. I have had the most wonderful experience getting a facial by Jacqueline at Andante Day Spa. I have had breakouts in the same areas and then dryness in other areas over the years and never understood why. I tried everything I knew to help my skin and just couldn't seem to find "that healthy glow". She took the time to educate me and help me with these areas of concern which was PRICELESS. Her knowledge of the skin and "magical touch" set a new standard for facials. I won't go any where else! For an exceptional facial Jacqueline is the one and Andante Day Spa is THE PLACE!!! I scheduled a last minute appointment for a spray tan, and they were so accommodating, making sure to fit me in. It was my first time getting a spray tan, and Ivana made sure to alleviate all my fears. She made the whole process very comfortable and made sure to talk through everything beforehand. I would recommend her for any event you may have. Overall GREAT experience! more

My first introduction to Andante day spa was during a ladies retreat. And all I can say is Wow! I had some incredible treatments but the facial with aromatherapy was off the charts!! This was my first facial and it felt like heaven. So I was hooked! I decided to have my 40th birthday party because I wanted something special and unforgettable. ANDANTE did not disappoint. I had a mineral soak, man/ped, massage, facial and body polish...I had an incredible time and had to visit again for the body polish...You must meet the owner YVONNE PATE....... She is dynamic, spiritual and passionate about delivering the ultimate spa experience. She makes you feel like you are one of the most important people on this planet in her spa.
