Dog Got Butchered 7/1/2013

I will never recommend this place to anyone after they butchered my dog giving him a grooming completely wrong for his breed as a sheltie. All we wanted was a trim and they shaved his beautiful mane along with everything else making him completely unrecognizable as a sheltie.\r \r Their website is nothing but a lie about how they groom according to the breed. Do yourself a favor, if you love your pet don’t bring it here! more

Never Again 7/13/2010

On a recommendation - back in March - I called and made an appointment for my persian cat to be trimmed and shaped. I never let his fur grow out fully. I try to maintain 1-2" growth - like a "puppy" cut. What I got back was a completely shaved cat. Except for his head and tail, he was shaved clean. I had to keep him in a sweater until May because he would not walk around he just wanted to curl up in a ball. He was too cold. Why can't they follow the same procedure that they do with apso's and yorkies? more

Great Place 4/10/2010

I take my little dog here for grooming and find the owner and the staff to be professional and friendly. They always do a great job on my dog and other people I have recommended always give me good reports as to the service they receive as well. Pros: Excellent service and knowledgeable staff more

Amy's Pet Palace is a great place to bring your pup to. 9/18/2009

I brought my basset hound in for a bath and nail clipping & they did a great job. They were all very nice & lovable to my dog. I would highly recommend them to everyone!! more

I brought my two dogs in for hygienic shaves and nail clipping. Amy and her staff were very professional and kind and handled the dogs well. I was impressed with the demeanor of the employees here. I would definitely recommend this place to others and bring my dogs in for more services in the future. more

Amy's Pet Palace is very good 6/22/2009

i been going there for 5 years. never a major problem. my dog was extrememly hard to handle and he never had to be tranqualized nor a phone call with a problem. on occasion an appointment was re scheduled but that is due to normal human issues that cannot be helped. I have cancelled or not showed up before and they were still nice to me. i am just a regular customer no special relation to them and i like them alot. Maybe a bit priced but i think all over has the same pricing. Actually they are to me very pleasant in person as well as on the phone. the previous owner before amy was ok too. i am wondering if it were wendy my prefered groomer who was mentioned in the article who had left and had the bad experience. she seemed to be a nice women who would not be bothered with any of that. things happen sometimes that cannot be controlled. thats life deal with it or go elese where why bother to put this on the web like that? more

Amy's Pet Palace did super job! 6/22/2009

took my 5 month old puppy and they did a super job. this was the 2nd place I tried. just trying to find a place to listen to what I wanted. they listened and transformed my fuzzy puppy to a beautifully groomed puppy. they were so nice and I even got a thank you in the mail the very next day! DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! I brought my 4yo Yorkie for a hair cut and when I picked him up, he had no whiskers. They were completely cut off to stubs. more

My appointment was for 9am so I think I was one of the first ones there. I received a call about 45 minutes later saying my dog was done. My dog is 100lbs so I thought that was a little fast (I have brought her there before and it took almost 2 hours). When I returned to pick her up the place was a very busy, there was pee all over the reception area, and it was very hot inside. I payed my bill of $92.11 and took my dog home. \r \r As I was driving I noticed that she was not opening her right eye and she was still shedding bad. After about an hour of still holding her eye shut I called Pet Palace to see if anything happened to my dog. They told me that she may have soap in her eyes to wash it out with water. I did so and it did nothing. \r \r After about 2 hours I called them again and got the wond more

Great Job!! 12/2/2007

I brought my 2 cats to Amy's Pet Palace and they did a great job with them. The girls were very nice & were very understanding since one of my cats I know can be very diffcult to handle. I would highly recommend them to everyone who has a dog or cat. more

    Every dog and cat regardless of size, breed, age, or coat type, needs to be groomed on a daily basis. Dogs and cats should be started on a regular grooming routine when they are still young (after final shots). If dogs and cats are introduced to grooming at an early age, they will become accustomed to it.
