This was as smooth as I hoped it would be. My wife and I loved the service and will use them again when we move her parents up here. The price was fair and the customer service was great. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and very pleasant to talk to. Every question I had they had a answer for. Amerisouth Relocation did a great job on my move. I recently recommended them to a friend who moved last week. The movers were so friendly and very professional. I was so happy with them. I was worried about packing all my large mirrors in my house and my china doll collection but everything was done carefully and were delivered without a scratch. Upon arrival in my new home, all my items were re-assembled and place exactly where I wanted. The price was reasonable and the service was wonderful.\r more

Great moving company. Low flat rate compared to other movers. I had last-minute trouble at my building - building management required certificate of insurance and I hadn't known about it in advance... but the movers were patient and polite and worked with my landlord to get it taken care of in just a couple hours. Move was fast and efficient. Their communication was good too, kept me informed about what was going on all throughout.\r more

Had a great experience with Amerisouth Moving last week. They were on time, efficient, careful, and just all around pleasant to work with. Even the facilities manager at our new building remarked that they were very fast and did a great job (not being rough with boxes, didn't mar the floors or walls, etc.). \r \r The team brings tools to disassemble and reassemble anything that needs it and does so cheerfully. Moving our couch out required both taking the feet off the couch and the front door off the hinges and they were able to negotiate a very touch turn professionally.\r more

I recently used the guys at Amerisouth Relocation to move my wife and I with our two kids from Bayonne, NJ to Arlington VA. I was originally going to rent a truck and do it myself, but Lola convinced me that since it is a back haul for them, their price would be very competitive. And it was. Amerisouth moved our 3 bedroom house and everything went off without a hitch. They gave us a package where we packed all boxes and they packed everything else like mirrors, electronics, pictures, and furniture etc. I was very happy with service at pick-up and delivery and would definitely recommend Amerisouth in the future. When it comes to long distance moves, even many good moving companies screw up. But amerisouth relocation did an excellent job when they moved my things. They worked very quickly, but very efficiently and with care. They packed the delicate items carefully and paid special attention to the fragile ones and managed the heavy stuff very well. I have to say that I'm totally impressed with this moving service. I have moved several times in my life (used to be in the military). Even out of the military, I used movers to go across country a few times and never had the quality of service that this organization provides! NOTHING WAS DAMAGED! I'm in shock. \r \r I originally thought with the distance I moved and the quote that was given me ($1050) that I was going to be dealing with all kinds of broken items, but that wasn't the case. They were timely and stood by their guarantees. I will be using them again! \r \r They were just awesome! more

I was very nervous about moving as I had some expensive pieces and some newly purchased furniture. I hired Amerisouth Relocation based upon feedback I received from friends. \r \r I spoke to Lola who was very friendly, helpful and quick in getting me a price quote. On the actual moving day the movers were right on time. The piece that I was most worried being moved, a VERY LARGE solid wood armoire, was handled quickly and easily. All of the pieces were wrapped to avoid damages. \r I had to do a two-part move from an apartment to a storage unit and from the storage unit to the new apartment. The movers were friendly, courteous, quick, and efficient. The whole experience was easy and hassle free. I would absolutely recommend them and will be using Amerisouth Relocation in the future. The best experience ever! Lola and Rebecca made everything so easy. So polite and courteous. Everything happened just as they were explained to us, easy to get in touch with someone when we had a question and the price was amazing. Got other quotes that were so out of line but Amerisouth Relocation quote was amazing. Will be using them again when we do the second part of our move. Moving is a huge task. I moved after 9 years. It was not easy to pack everything and move to another place. I decided to use professionals. As a process I checked the net, saw the listings of the movers and shortlisted 4 movers based on their user reviews. I called all 4 companies. Finally hired Amerisouth Relocation because I got the best offer from them and the sales rep Lola never pushed me to hire them. I was expecting a good service from Amerisouth. They did not let me down. The Movers arrived on time, did the packing and moving perfectly. They were ahead than then the schedule and made sure that all my goods reaches the destination safely. I am more than happy with their overall service and I do recommend this company. more

Please, please do not use this company! I simply cannot understand how they are still in business.\r \r We moved from Long Island to South Carolina. While the men that moved us in New York were very pleasant & professional, that's where the positive experience stopped.\r \r For starters, they have the BBB logo on their website. I called the BBB and they are using that logo without permission. The BBB is suppose to be contacting them about the false advertising.\r \r - We were charged 2.5 times what they originally quoted us PLUS almost $700 in supplies. (Note - the majority of our things we packed ourselves.)\r \r - They guaranteed a delivery date - which they did not meet. \r \r - They guaranteed that our belongings would be delivered on their own truck with professional movers. It arrived on a generic moving truck. And the two men were definitely NOT professional movers. They did not have tools and only had ONE knife. We had to put things together ourselves (though that was guaranteed in the contract.) \r \r - Our footboard is cracked. Our dresser is cracked. A specialty lampshade was crushed (all things they packed) and we are STILL waiting for them to respond - it has been over a month. \r \r This was a TERRIBLE experience. I doubt we will ever see compensation for our damaged belongings - but I will not leave it be. \r more

Showed up at my house on time, explained to me exactly what they were going to do, and then worked so hard to get us moved from our house in New York City to our new home in Florida. Amerisouth moving company is the worst, i went to bussiness boreau and has F rate.I have a bad experience with this company, first they give you an estimate after the guy is in your house and when everything is already in the huge truck, they charge you for material like tape, boxes, papers when they said is free At the moment of make the deal. the estimate at my case was 750 only for one matress, few boxes they charged me 2000 dollars, be very carefull the driver tells you sign here and there this is for this or that, after i want to take my things out of the truck the driver said I have to go discuss with the office. I called the office and the owner said you will pay for storage if you dont want to pay andmore upset and hung up the phone on me! I ended paying that and they said will be there in 3 bussiness day ans when i called one lady said you didnt read the paper.? We have 15 days and it took 21 days andI lost a lot a lot items because what this company does is put your items in a storage then another company the name is nationalwhide picked up your things from there and will put together your belongs with other deliveries they have on their way. When finally they get to my place they wanted to charge to take my things out of thetruck,i called amerisouth and they said they are not responsable for my delivery anymore to deal with them and hung up the phone. The new driver wanted to charge me .75 cubics for free and the rest like 1200 more! I decide to leave on theside walk , i was to desesperate that my friend right away came to help me to bring my things upstairs. I lost boxes, tv, items broke. Please dont ever use this company never , i know trough this review i will help people to not chose this company. more

I am very pleased to have used Amerisouth Moving Co. for my move from Texas to NYC. I was very skeptical about using a moving company at all. I planned on doing it all on my own but when they gave me the run down of services that they offer, it made my life a whole lot easier. The total cost was extremely reasonable compared to their competitors. Their staff were quite curteous and helpful in making sure all my needs were met. Amerisouth Moving was a godsend and they come highly recommended. more

HOW CAN THIS COMPANY BE IN BUSINESS??? We were booked to have Amerisouth move our dining room furniture from Pennsylvania to NJ with a quoted and guarenteed price. They called to confirm the time of pick-up two days prior and quoted us a higher price by 30%. They claimed the girl who gave us the lower price quit her job (Can imagine why) and she did not have permission to give us this price. We gave our credit card number to her to book the trip and they called to confim. They renegged on the quoted price, were nasty to us on the phone, would not return our calls, and I quote Lawrence, the Manager ""Go ahead and call the BBB. We don't care and we are not doing this job for that quoted price."" He claimed she had no authority to give us this price. Wow!!!! Worst experience of professionalism I have ever dealt with. Helpful Hint: If desperate enough to use this company make sure the employee you book the trip with does not have plans to leave the job before you move because they will come up with some excuse to raise your rate and blame the poor employee who left for making a mistake. more
