Andrew came right when he said he would, provided helpful information about my furnace, and help me set up an appointment with an engineer.

Worst

We had an issue of the pilot light occasionally going out. American Vintage fixed that just fine, it seems, but now the thermostat does not seem to work. The furnace won't stay on...

Thank you Joe Z. for the extra effort you put into opening my drain yesterday. I understand it's a temporary fix, and I appreciate the more permanent solution which you suggested. I intend to implement it in the future. Thank you Joe Z. The sink and shower both drained very well this morning. more

American Vintage Home has worked on my heating, air conditioning (which they installed) and my plumbing, and I am totally pleased with their service and their work. I am confident they will be honest about what's needed, that they will do a good job, and that they will be considerate of my house. more

Prompt emergency service 3/30/2014

No heat at 6 PM on a Friday night. Called company and technician was there within an hour, fixed problem promptly. Technician was courteous and knowledgeable. more

Annual Maintenance Service 3/11/2014

Bob was very professional and thorough in performing the annual maintenance on our Peerless Boiler. His inspection identify a couple of problems and he initiated repair. He was also helpful with other information about the heating system. His attention to the detail and doing it right is very much appreciated. This is what we have come to expect from American Vintage Home. more

Solid Service 3/11/2014

Andrew B diagnosed the issue with the furnace quickly, and laid out 3 options for me to consider. When I chose replacement he ordered the part and returned a few days later for a quick, effortless completion of the issue. Very easy to work with. Thats why I always choose American Vintage for my HVAC issues. more

Great Service 2/15/2014

I called American Vintage Home when my furnace stopped working on a very cold winter day. Within two hours a technician was at my house and working on the problem. Was very impressed with how quickly I had heat again! more

Our high efficiency gas furnace was stopping and starting. From the blinking error code signal on the furnace I identified that it was shutting down because of a blockage in the air intake PVC pipe. There was no obvious blockage – no snow in the outside opening of the pipe that I could see or feel. Technician Andrew B did a thorough inspection and cleaning of our high efficiency gas furnace. At my suggestion we pushed a plumber’s snake through part of the pipe but encountered no blockage. He suggested that there may be ice or snow blocking the air intake and that we wait till the weather warms up in the next couple days. That gave me the idea that I could force warm air through the PVC air intake pipe using the exhaust outlet on my vacuum cleaner. He showed me where to place the vacuum nozzle, and suggested running the vacuum for about a half hour. It worked! Andrew was courteous, pleasant, and patiently answered all my questions. I have now had service from a couple American Vintage technicians and am very pleased with this company. more

No Hot Water and it's a Sunday Morning? 12/17/2013

Tony responded Monday afternoon after conferring Sunday morning with Lester and myself and determining that the necessary parts were not available to them Sunday. Tony's arrival began with his sincere apology for the 36 hours without hot showers and an assurance we were a priority. He managed to get hot water restored while we waited an additional 24 hours for parts. He was polite, informative and courteous and worked quite quickly to resolve the problem as well as troubleshoot two other issues with the unit avoiding future unplanned service needs. more

Typically flawless service 12/3/2013

Robert adjusted my HTP boiler and it stopped making the really irritating loud squealing sound. He re-installed the radiator that I had removed when replacing the kitchen floor this summer. He also replaced a broken valve on another radiator. As always, all the work was completed very efficiently and professionally. It is really a pleasure working with this company and feel very well taken care of whenever Robert comes out for a service call. more

Great Service 11/21/2013

My six-month old, high efficiency condensing boiler was making a very strange rumbling sound. Robert came out to fix it, made the necessary programming adjustments and was on his way. Like all of the technicians from American Vintage that have come to my house, he was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I am always extremely happy with the service I receive from this company more
