The owner of American Painting Co is nice guy. The whole staff was sincere as well. The only thing that was inconvenient was that the job took longer than we planned. Other than that, everything turned out nice. more

Enjoyable experience on a professional and personal level! 2/6/2015

I had a very enjoyable experience with American Painting Company. On a professional level, I felt confident in their ability to perform the task, and on a personal level, they were pleasant people to work with. Marcelo worked with me throughout the service. He helped me select the paint color for our living room with a vaulted ceiling, and an adjacent wall that went into our dining room. We selected a very neutral color that turned out very nice. It was enough of a change to be noticeable, and also has the potential to go well with other color combinations. They needed to patch one area, but that was understandable. The lighting made it hard to recognize during the time of day they did the painting. Marcelo came back to fix the area. We were very pleased with their service all around. more

A Great Experience 2/3/2015

American Painting Co. were very good at communicating, and he asked questions about the paint colors that we wanted. All the staff there were very friendly and comfortable to be around. He was very detail-oriented, and he hires employees who are very pleasant to be around. more

High-quality work for a great price. 11/21/2014

I am very pleased with the service that I received from American Painting. The painter arrived promptly and was very good at keeping in touch with me about when he would arrive and such. He did a very good job painting my patio and cleaned up very well after he was done. He was thorough, polite, and professional, no doubt about it. The price was very reasonable and if I need any other painting jobs in the future, I'll know to call American Painting. more

Very Pleased. 11/12/2014

This was the first time I worked with American Painting Company. Marcelo painted the exterior of my house. It was a large project, but he was really quick about it. Marcelo is a very nice man. Just don't let him choose your colors, haha. Aside from that, he is very meticulous, conscientious, and a hard worker. He also hires good people to help him and has reasonable prices. I would recommend his service. more

I hired Marcelo did interior painting of a couple of properties. He has good attention to detail and his quality of work is good. He communicates clearly and works with you better than other contractors I have worked with in the past. M. Brown more

Overall I would use them again, but I would remind them to bring their equipment next time. 10/30/2014

Overall American Painting Company was friendly, but I rate them much lower due to missing equipment required to finishing the job. It happened twice. There are some things we did not like about how the job came out, but that was not their fault. They even deducted it from our bill; which was good. Overall, the pricing was good, and they were nice people to talk and deal with. more

I highly recommend Marcello and his American Painting Co. 8/24/2014

I highly recommend Marcello. He's both an artist and a craftsman. Conscientious and neat. I relied on him for insights and suggestions. He'll be our "go to guy" for any further painting projects. Marcello did a really good job with the three painting projects he did for us, i.e., (1) preparing (salvaging) and painting our badly sun damaged front door, (2) painting the roof fascia, chimney tops, and dark brown window frames, etc., and (3) applying "Shingle Oil by Chevron" to my backyard, redwood fence. While our agreement provided that I buy all the paint, Marcello brought along some undercoat material called "Elastomeric" which he applied as an undercoat to help fill in the cracks caused by sun damage that were in our south facing fascia boards. A nice result. more

Best Service Ever! 8/20/2014

Marcelo and his team were home about a week ago and we loved the work done. Overall, he is very professional, meticulous and careful to learn what your expectations are. He is very honest and transparent, we had asked him to take care of a leak that was damaging one of the walls of our home and he instead of saying yes, he recommended us to contact the Air Conditioning Vendor because it could be still under warranty (our house is a couple of years old). We took his advise and discovered that the a part of the AC is actually broken! He was so right! Someone else could have come up with the work around we were asking to deviate the water leak somewhere else instead of the wall. Not him, he offered to power wash the wall to get rid of the mold and to apply a product that would repel the humidity and mold (which he took care of for us). We were very pleased and grateful with their work and Marcelo's advise! His working experience really shows. Thank you Marcelo! Irina more

The service from American Painting is excellent. We hired them to paint the interior of our house and they gave us a competitive quote. They completed the job very professionally and efficiently. They showed up right on time and got the job done well. Marcelo is very responsive. Everyone was cheerful and personable. I'd recommend them. more

Really great! 8/5/2014

American Painting painted the inside of my house and it turned out real well. He sat down with me and went through everything because I had no idea what I was going to do. He was very patient and gave me options with color charts. He wasn't like other ones that I interviewed where they just told me how much it cost and what they plan to do. He even mixed colors to get the one I wanted which I thought was really great. more

Thank you for the best job I could have imagined. The lady was happy with the job.. thats saying a bunch. They arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after well. Fast, fair and done that day. more
