Autumn and Rana were meticulous in their approach to cleaning. I just moved from out of state and left behind housekeepers I really loved. Finding American Housekeeping of Utah was a great housewarming present to myself! more

My wife and I have used American House Cleaning (AHC) out of Roy for at least two years. At first it was awesome! Over the last year we have had to have them come back and re-clean a few times due to an unsatisfactory clean. They were happy to come back and did a complete re-clean that was amazing! This time it was just too much so I am canceling my service. My home is about 3000 sqft and each year the cost to clean it gets raised about $10, which is inflation. I am a firefighter and am usually home when they clean, I go out to the garage and work on projects. Today the two cleaners that showed up I had never seen before. I let them do their cleaning and I worked on projects. When they were done they asked if I wanted to inspect the house so I did. Several things were not dusted, two rooms did not get vacuumed, the master shower still had some mildew around the bottom. I pointed these things out and they cleaned them. I checked the master bath vanity top and could feel it was dirty. The cleaner stated “it is probably hair spray residue.” What happened is they only wiped what could be seen and did not bother to move anything to wipe under it. When I spoke with a cleaner she stated this was their first time cleaning our home and their supervisor gave them a quick rundown of what to do. As they cleaned the areas that were missed I checked other areas. The items on the kitchen counters had not been cleaned under. Many picture frames were not dusted. An ottoman had not been moved and vacuumed under. Light switches were dirty and many more things that their checklist shows will be cleaned were not. I could have saved myself almost $200 and done the same job in the same amount of time. Now I do not blame the cleaners, I blame the lack of supervision. If this was their first time cleaning my home like they stated and the supervisor obviously knew it was way didn’t the supervisor at least come out and check to make sure it was done right or better yet come clean with them to show them how to do it right. As it was I was doing the supervisors job taking time out of my day off! I use to recommend this service to others but no longer will. I will have some competitors give me a bid and see how that goes or I may just save the money and take half a day every three weeks and clean it myself. more

This is the first time that I ever used a cleaning service and they did great! Floors look amazing, the water marks in my bathroom are gone, kitchen is spotless, all trash bins emptied- was wonderful... I really like that they TEXT before they come too. Thank You, Francine more

I am a returning customer to American Housekeeping. I always hire help during the summer months when I prefer to be outside as opposed to cleaning my house. My previous experience with them was excellent but when I contacted them this spring they were pretty tightly booked and couldn't quite accommodate my schedule. I went with someone else. BIG MISTAKE! I'm back with American Housekeeping and couldn't be happier. They are very reliable, give great service and management always follows up with both the staff and customer. I highly recommend them! more

We recently had our home cleaned by this company and have signed up for monthly reoccurring cleaning. I'm a SAHM with a busy baby and two large labs so I need the help but not all that often. The two cleaners arrived within 30 minutes of the designated time agreed and they went right to work. I tried to stay out of their way with the babies and they did a wonderful job. They even accommodated cleaning the nursery first so I could put the baby down for his nap. They do a thorough job in each room and I highly recommend this service. You can trust that they take care of the items you are unable to get to with a busy life. I will update my review after a few months too. more

After I broke my foot I wasn't able to keep my house as clean as I wanted. I called American Housekeeping and Marci came out and gave us an estimate. She explained exactly what would be done in our house. It is a very comprehensive cleaning, top to bottom. The cleaning crew came exactly when they were scheduled and were very professional. I had to leave while they were still at my house, but I didn't have any concern about it. I came home to a beautifully clean house, so nice! I will be continuing their service even after my foot has healed. more

I admit I was skeptical, but when I came home to my beautifully clean home, I was thrilled! It smelled wonderful. My blinds have never been so clean. They look brand new! more
