Had a good experience with this company. They showed up on time and stayed late until completely done. Very reasonably priced compared to some of the other companies I have dealt with in the past. \r !!!!!!!!!!Definately Recommend!!!!!!! more

Avoid this company if you can. Once you have paid them, its basically ""we'll get to you when we get to you"". They installed the HVAC in our new Jones company build, we had three units. One was not wired, one was not charged and the third was operational. They took two more visits to get the AC working, and they were in no rush to get out here and fix it even though it was their fault the systems didnt work. more

American Heating and Cooling has charged me $69 just to come and take a look at the problem. They didn't let me know on the phone that there would be charge to come and diagnose the problem. They never even provided a written estimate, but they were quick to cash the check. Horrible service!!!! Never use them, there are enough other companies in this field in Nashville. WOW!!!! I want everyone to know how great all the people at American Heating and Cooling are. It was 96 Degrees in my house at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night. I called there 24 hr service number and got a response in less that 10 mins. I had already called two other companies and 10 days later still no response. Americans tech JOSEPH was at my house in less than an hour and was able to have the system fixed by midnight. I received a follow up call from a nice lady named Brandi first thing Monday morning to make sure everything was working fine. It is great to see that there are still companines that care about provinding top of the line service to people in need. Thanks American I will recommend you agian. more

You can not trust these guys at all 3/22/2011

New house Jones Co. built Spring Hill TN Burtonwood Sub, American Heat & Cooling installed RUDD unit. Documented over 20 service call?s in 1-2 yr time on new unit and threat of law suits. Finally hired another AC company to inspect problems. American replaced unit with inferior WeatherKing . Now today just found out 3yr old WeatherKing unit compressor locked up, out of warrantee due to manufacture date. May have been setting in warehouse. I would never ever use these AC guys. Almost all my neighbors have had to replace their units or have serious issues. All the time wasted on the service calls and lies they will come up with to pacify you with. They went as far as saying it was normal for outside temperature 95deg inside may run as high as 85deg inside house when thermostat set at 74deg. more

Technicians do not know what is covered under warranty and provide customers false information as to what will be covered only to find out items will not be covered. A poor way of doing business! Pros: None Cons: Service more
