My Viking oven was in need of repair. It would start and then shut down by itself after 15-20 minutes. Alex was recommended to me by mo coworker who used them in the past several times. Everything turned out to be as expected. Alex showed up and fixed my appliance on the same visit. He was very nice man and we had a long coversation about life :). Thank you! more

Subzero Repair in fullerton, CA. I have been having cooling problems with my fridge for some time now and i did not know where to turn. I had a few companies look at it and "try" to repair but unsuccessfully. I came across this company online, they seem to have good reviews. I called today in the morning and was able to schedule for today. They dispatched a technician very quickly, he was at my house in less than an hour after i called. The repair was done on the same day and my refrigerator seems to be working fine now! Its been only a few hours but I already can see the difference in performance. more

I hate how people only write things on the rare occasion that something goes wrong. I try my best to always reward good service and AAR has never let me down. I have used American Appliance Repair many times. The first time I was still shopping around and got quoted outrageous fees just to have someone come out and look at my appliance! This company has always given me the LOWEST PRICE especially when you shop around and realize how much the others are asking (they will match or beat any written estimate from their competition!!) . The friendly staff that answers the phone is always accommodating to my schedule usually even booking me same day service. I have no complaints at all, and they have fixed both my fridge and washer/ dryer when they broke. more

I have used AAR a few times already! This time they came out and repaired my oven, the heating was off. I would dial in 350F but it would not go pass 150F. Alex came out and was able to get it fixed without replacing any parts! Saved me a lot of money again! This company is the best in OC! I usually do not write reviews, but this is the second review I'm leaving them! Good Job! Keep it up! more

Alex is very good tech when it comes to GE applianes. He has repaired my GE Monogram Fridge and also a GE dishwasher. You can tell he has experience, it takes him less than 10 minutes to figure out the problem, and under an hour for the repair. Very good at what he does! Mention that you found them online and they will give you a discount! more

Today woke up to relaize that my range didnt want to work any more, there was a clicking sound but the burners wouldnt light up. I called Viking and they advised to call American Appliance Repair. I called them up, they sent me up with an appointment for today between 2-3pm. Mike, the technician, showed up right at 2 pm. He diagnosed the problem as the spark madule being broken... He didnt have the part on the truck but said that he can get it and come back. He left my house, picked up the part and was back within 45 minutes. He made sure that everything was working fine infront of me. All in all very efficient company. It was easy to schedule and they were here on time, got the range working the same day! A+ more

I live in Irvine. Alex came out to repair my SubZero Fridge. It wasnt cooling well and icemaker wouldnt work. I have used them a few month ago to repair my dryer, so i decided to call them again. Alex came over within an hour and was prepared. He diagnosed the problem was with a temp sensor. He replaced the sensor and the icemaker. The icemaker is working great now and the temperature seems to be correct! more

Great Service! I had a broken dryer. I didnt heat well. It would take 3 cycles to dry a load. Mike came out and repaired it on the same day. Left everything clean. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a repair. more

Our washer was indicating a door lock error code, which through a simple on-line search is sourced through a faulty control panel, wiring from the panel to the door lock mechanism or the door lock mechanism itself. The representative of course only checked and replaced the door lock. We then had the same problems a few days later. AAR came out again and fixed a wire they should have fixed in the first place, claimed it was now a faulty control panel and bid to repair it at approximately $300.00 and charged us $45 to repair what should have been repaired in the first place. When I asked Alex for my $45 to be reimbursed to me, he came up with nothing but lies. He claimed that he had to charge $45 to come out to our home and that nothing was wrong with the washer. When asked why then did his representative tell me the control panel was bad and provide a bid for $300.00 Alex hung up on my and won't return my calls. more

I had these guys out to repair my dishwasher which wasn't draining. They said they cleared the drain and the air gap and then ran an expensive "special cleaner" through the system. A few weeks later I'm having the same problem. I called to ask them to come back and waive the call fee, hoping they would find the real problem the second time around. The rude man I talked to had the nerve to say it must be my fault because I don't clean my dishes well enough before putting them in the dishwasher which is the opposite of the truth. Don't trust this company, they aren't interested in finding the real problem and they don't back up their work. more

Call them this morning to come out and do repairs on my fridge and a dryer. The tech Alex came out right on time at 8am. He kenw what he was doing. He had an estimate ready in less than 30 min for both appliances. I gave him the go ahead with repairs. He repaired BOTH appliances right on the spot! Wow! Couldnt ask for better service! more
