I've been taking my doggy there for a year and I love it. The front desk staff always answers all my finanical questions and obtain the requested forms that I need for traveling purposes with my dog.\r No complaints at all! more

I have been going to Ambassador for a little over a yr now, It took some time for me to get used to them, and them to me, as I can be difficult :) Many times the price was reduced so that my animal could have treatment. Dr Cassidy is always busy, to busy, as she really spends more time with the animals less time with us humans :) although being that I felt this needed to be improved, as we owners need to be filled in as what, how, whatever was done to our pets. I recently lost our dog, in death, not sure if the proper condolences were offered, but from only one nurse. :( more

Great Vet 5/14/2012

I took my small dog to Dr. Shenuda last week. She broke her dew claw while playing fetch. She was hesitant to go on her usual walks. She was licking the broken nail a lot and the area became swollen. Dr. Shenuda asked to hold her when he first came in to the room. He was very kind and gentle and Audrey felt comfortable with him. He removed the broken nail, injected an antibiotic, sent us home with liquid antibiotics (which I find is really great for my dog - easier to give than pills) and I left feeling really great about the whole experience. She came out with a bandage that looked like a soft cast. Also the woman who works in front was really nice and very helpful. I also thought it considerate that they have separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats. No need to make the cat's experience more stressful :) more

wonderful service 3/1/2012

I've been taking my pomapoo since the first day I got her. She is a little fiesty and can be a handful. Never had any problems with anyone at the clinic. Very helpful, answers all questions, even called to check on her. So far no complaints. Thanks more

Excellent service & super freindley 12/19/2011

I was able to make a same day apt for my little puppy and was offered excellent service at a great price. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They even advised me how to get the most out of the services that I paid for. Overall best veterinary experience I have ever had. more

The staff and doctors there are great. They really care for my dog, especially when his back goes out. They're also attentive and friendly. I go out of my way, about 4 miles, to this Vet versus another one much closer. Worth it! more

Best Dog & Cat Hospital in Long Beach 11/8/2011

Chico and Nena are very important to us. As Yorkies, they tend to be very active dogs who eat anything out of curiosity, jump on anything out of curiosity, and run at the speed of light out of curiosity. It is great they are happy and active, but it can also result in injuries. Ambassador Dog & Cat Hospital has been taking care of my pets since we moved to Long Beach almost two years ago, and since then I know that when my ""children"" need a check up, have an injury, an allergic reaction, or any other medical needs, I can only trust them. Thank you for caring about my dogs like they are yours:) more

Ambassador dog and cat hosp. 11/2/2011

I Have been going to this hosp for over 30yrs.. I love dr. Sam.. I came in yesterday w/my friends dog who had an abcess tooth. I said if the bill was gonna be to high she was going to put the dog down... he gave me the best deal in town.. how could I refuse... I paid the bill gladly... unfortunely my friend was still stunned by the bill... she couldn't sleep all nite thinking about it.. however, jill is saved by dr sam... ty.... more
