I took my small dog to Dr. Shenuda last week. She broke her dew claw while playing fetch. She was hesitant to go on her usual walks. She was licking the broken nail a lot and the area became swollen. Dr. Shenuda asked to hold her when he first came in to the room. He was very kind and gentle and Audrey felt comfortable with him. He removed the broken nail, injected an antibiotic, sent us home with liquid antibiotics (which I find is really great for my dog - easier to give than pills) and I left feeling really great about the whole experience. She came out with a bandage that looked like a soft cast. Also the woman who works in front was really nice and very helpful. I also thought it considerate that they have separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats. No need to make the cat's experience more stressful :)
