Suggie took my hair from a mass of tangles and old color damage to a stylish cut that is great for my face and easy to manage. I'm a customer for life now.

I recently moved to Alaska and had to leave my hair dresser that I have had for years. Nicole was awesome, she took her time to make sure that my hair wouldn't be damaged and my hair came out beautiful. more

For the past ten years, I have struggled to find a stylist who will cut my hair how I want it to be cut because I can't put it into words. Suggie seems to "get" hair. She gave me the cut I've been hoping for and I'm SO pleased. Usually I run home and take a shower after my haircuts, but after Suggie cut my hair I wanted to go out and show it off. What a treat! I had a great experience at Amave'l Hair Studio. more

Everytime I go in for services I am always treated like family-have now started taking my elderly mother there because of the way they treat their clients. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is family oriented with no smoking and/or cursing like I have found at some salons. more

Darling boutique style salon with great selection of high quality products. Everyone is very charming and knowledgeable.Nicole got my color PERFECT the first time, and the cut was the best ever. Prices are very good for the skill & ambiance. I found my new stylist for sure! more

Hands down the best in Anchorage! I am 90% gray and colorists always color me too dark. Not at Amave'l - it is perfect every time. My cut is too cute! I gave Nicole a general idea of what I was looking for and she gave me even better!!! The brazilian blow-out has lasted me two months. I have never received so many compliments. Don't pay for another bad color, cut or second rate brazilian blow-out. Love the new appointment option to choose Nicole or Suggie! more

Suggie ROCKS! 5/18/2011

Suggie truly does rock! I don't care much about hair or for paying 25 bucks. I'm an ex-Army guy so as long as it's short n' nice I'm happy, but she gave me some style to go with my swagger. If you don't mind paying 25 bucks (all places are this way now), she gave an excellent cut and believe it or not, my shirt wasn't itchy afterward. She even massaged my head during the wash. ROCK IT! more

Best haircut I've ever had! 4/24/2011

When I called to get an appointment, the customer service was wonderful! I got my hair cut by Suggie, and it was THE BEST haircut I have ever recieved. She was soooo nice and she knew exactly what I wanted. I have never loved a haircut so much before. I would reccommend this salon to everyone! more

I came in to get my first ever Brazilian blowout and was very impressed with the results along with the quality of service provided. I let the stylist be the one to use her best judgement on cutting my hair and it came out AMAZING. I really wish I would have discovered this place a loooong time ago. more

Nicole knows hair! Visits are always pleasant and her work is meticulous. She is creative and likes to branch out but is flexible if you come with ideas of your own. The perfect place for people of all ages. Always a great visit! more
