Suggie took my hair from a mass of tangles and old color damage to a stylish cut that is great for my face and easy to manage. I'm a customer for life now.

Suggie, since you got me in yeasturday Sat the s11 of Feb 2012... I have been extremely happy with my shorter do..You took your time even though I just had brain surgery...I love my hair as always...I rocked it with gel "short sexy hair" this morning!!! as always I will keep coming back to you even after the Chemo & radiation! more

Love my Low Lights! 2/8/2012

I love my stylist! She knows my hair and does a great job. If it weren't for her, I would be totally grey. I don't want to color my hair every several weeks so I'm doing low lights and it really looks great! more

I had to find thee MS. Kawehi Mahi o.k.! Aint nobody else in anchorage, AK gonna touch this head of hair. Kawehi is sooo awesome! I get the look that I like, with the most friendliest service. The salons set up is beautifuLL!!!! Amave'l is the spot to handle all those hair needs!!!! So glad I found the spot that can get my head part all did up n in such a comfortable way!!!!!!Mahalos plenty(thank you soo much) more

We've been going to Suggie for amost a year now and she just transfferred over to this shop not long after we first met. Suggie is awesome. She's helpful and does an excellent job. She's the best. Everytime we've gone in it's been a very friendly outgoing place to be. Nicole is great with advice and super funny! I recommend this place to everyone I know. more

Suggie was great! She took her time and really listened to what I wanted and what to expect. She was great with my daughter who had her cut after mine she talked to my daughter and to me to make sure we got what we wanted. GREAT experience!! more

Kudos to Groupon for finding me this place! 1/18/2012

Suggie spent time just talking to me about my lifestyle,how much time I want to spend on it a day and future "hair goals" as the last person butchered it. Then she made suggestions and asked me before each cut if it was ok. Love it. Wow, someone who listens and she really knows her stuff. And fun! more

When my daughter and I arrived for our appointment, Suggie the esthetician greeted us so warmly! She was extremely professional , took her time and made us both feel quite pampered and well cared for. The end result was quite delightful and I would definitely return! more

Nicole Davis is awesome, she takes pride in her work and has lots of knowledge in her field and it shows. She's been doing my hair for 8 months and she never disappoints me. Nicole takes her time so your hair doesn't over process and she listens to you and try's to achieve what you want. She is truly a master of her skill and I would highly recommend Nicole Davis to anyone! more

Great Service; Love My Hair! 12/20/2011

This was my first time at this salon. Nicole did an amazing job with my hair. She gave me a brazilian blowout and the results are wonderful. I love the ease and manageability of my hair now. It was so frizzy and coarse before the blowout. And, I have to say, I usually don't bring my kids with me, but this time I had to bring my youngest and Nicole was helpful and understanding through it all. She made sure that we were both comfortable. more

I am 12, and I have very long hair. I wanted bright blue highlights, so I went to see Nicole. She did an amazing job, and followed my instructons 100%!!! I am so happy, and my hair looks amazing! Also, she was very friendly and happy! LOVE HER!! And I will be going back again and again! more

Very nice service. Suggie made me feel very pampered, and Ienjoyed the haircut, and facial. I also had my brows waxed, and ended up having to clean them up quite a bit when I got home. more

An hour of luxury 9/30/2011

I expected a routine facial and enjoyed an hour of exquisite relaxation and luxury. The products were great but the massage and Asian accupressure treatment made this hour spectacular! And the results lifted 10 years of wrinkles and creases from my face. Also appreciated the arm and hand treatment and massage. What a joy to spend this time with talented Suggie. more

What a great experience!! I called Amave'l on the recommendation of a friend. I have VERY fine and VERRRRY thin hair so finding the right stylist was a must. I discussed what I wanted and was referred to Suggie. She was fantastic!! One of the best cuts I've ever had! Yeah!!! more

Wonderful experience 9/26/2011

I had a wonderful time with Nicole at Amave`l Hair Studio. She was very honest with me about what would happen to my hair but offered other suggestions that I ended up loving! While I was disappointed at first that I wasn't going to be able to get what I had originally wanted, I was excited and elated to walk out of the salon with a totally fresh & new look. Nicole made me feel comfortable and was so fun to be around. I wish I lived in Anchorage because I'd go to her all the time for my hair!!(: more
