Suggie took my hair from a mass of tangles and old color damage to a stylish cut that is great for my face and easy to manage. I'm a customer for life now.

Found my hairstylist! 12/6/2012

I have been in and out of salons for the past 5 years, not exactly satisfied with experiences thus far. I purchases a Groupon and tried Amave'L. Nicole was pleasant, patient and efficient. I highly recommend her expertise to anyone. more

My appt was with Suggie, and she is ALL you would want in a hair stylist: patient, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I also met Nicole, and she is equally as incredible and enthusiastic with her work! You can tell they make a great team. Suggie took her time with my 3hr appt, giving high-quality performance and customer-service the entire time. All in all, my first visit with Amave'L casted such an amazing impression, I am making it my official go-to hair salon. Thank you for everything :) more

Best haircut in Alaska ! 10/28/2012

Just had my hair cut by Suggie. Her hair cuts are always perfect. She is very friendly, professional and respectable. She works fast, and is attentive to every detail. My wife loves my new haircut, and I find it is so much easier to manage now that she is cutting my hair. We both highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants friendly service by professionals who know what they are doing. more

Nicole is officially my go to lady. My experience with her is ALWAYS amazing and I enjoy just relaxing and laughing while having an amazing job done on my hair. I encourage ALL my friends to call on her .....I cant say enough about her!! I went to Amave'l Hair Studio to get a very short hair style. I have always had very long hair. Suggie made me feel soo comfortable. She defininetly knows her stuff! I will never go anywhere else! I love my haircut! She did a fantastic job!! Suggie ROCKS!!! :) more

Outstanding Work and Service!!! 9/23/2012

I have been going to Amave'l Hair Studio nearly 3 years and would never even consider having anyone else do my hair. Nicole has worked her talent and my hair is healthier than it has been in a long time. The energy in the salon is peace-full and Nicole and Suggie are wonderful people. I am 16 months old and Suggie gave me my last two haircuts. I fought the last one every step of the way and it still came out great. My Mom has been coming to Nicole for color since before I was born. We both love Amave'l: it's great for families and the ladies are always doing something thoughtful like collecting clothes for needy Moms. more

1. Stylist was 40 min late and spent 3 min talking to her friend on the phone before introducing herself to me. AND forgot my name! 2. Stylist baby screamed for 25 min! 3. Stylist never asked me about myself. She talked about her the whole time! 4. Never had a chance to see the color that was being put on my hair. Came out too dark! Professionalism is seriously lacking! more
