Always Available Disc Plumbers

rATING: VERY POOR. REGARDLESS WHAT THE OWNER SAYS HE DOES NOT DO SAME DAY SERVICE. Let me start out by saying that I have used this company on two other occasions and received great service. Jamie was the one who took the calls and did a great job for a reasonable price. Well, Thursday the 28th of Feb. at 4:00p.m. we had another plumbing problem, and I went to the phone to call. The phone rang off the wall then this guy named Jerry answered, and he asked me if I had called the office. I told him the number that I called, and he said they must have gone home for the day. I told him the problem. He then proceeded to tell me to call back in the morning so that it could be scheduled (REALLY...Gone home for the day at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon and they are a 24/7 company or so their website says.) I called the next morning at 9:30. The guy said he would call me back but an hour went by and he didn't call back. I called and got a voice mail. I left a message. Still, no return phone call. I called again at 11:30. Again, no answer. I waited all afternoon. I called again just before 4:00 and this time it goes to Jerry's voice mail, and again I left a message telling him that we had not heard from them all day. My husband then calls him Saturday morning at 9:00 Jerry then proceeded to answer and tell him that this was the first that he has heard about it and that he would be out at one to check on it. One came and went. Here it is Sunday morning and still no call or come by. My husband just called again and left another message this morning at 10:30 telling him that we were going to post this and that come Monday morning we were calling the BBB and complain if we did not hear from my 1:00. 1:00 came and went. So now this is posted and come Monday we will report them to the BBB. After that we will then call someone on Angie's list that we know will be reliable. This plumbing company (Always Available Discount Plumbing) is not very professional. more

I recently used AADP for a really big plumbing job. Walter Selman was my plumber. AADP was timely, professional, and reasonable on their pricing. Walter was very friendly and seemed to go over and above to resolve my problem. I would recommend Always Available Disc. Plumbers to anyone. more

I called "Always Available" on a weekend, and they were here on time, and had the best price! (I called several others) The guy that came out was very professional and had our toilet working again in no time. more

I dont understand the bad reviews. I called these guys out to my home and they responded very fast, and the price was cheaper then anyone else. I thought the gentleman that replaced my junk water heater knew what he was doing and explained everything to me. The price was what he quoted I was very pleased. more

I had some work done recently and was very satisfied with these guys, they were on time and very professional i would definitely use them again if i need any more plumbing work done, they did a great job at a fair price more

According to their website: "Our primary business objective is satisfied customers. Integrity, integrity, integrity!" But I can tell you nothing could be further from the truth. These guys were never even within 8 hours of when they said they'd show up, and 3 times in a row didn't show up at all. When they called (which didn't happen often) they had these ridiculous excuses for missing appointments. It was like working with a bunch of teenagers. As far as work goes, the work the guy did was okay, but he never did finish the job and in the end I had to hire someone else. Plus he never sent me a bill for over a month and then when I got the bill it was just a total without any break down of what I was being charged for. In the end they billed me for over $800 and I can tell you nothing they did came close to being worth that. They even tried to sell me a faucet set as new for my tub that turned out to be left over from another job and missing parts. When it was all said and done I spent more

Showed up at 8:30PM for 2:00 appointment. I kept calling, he kept telling me he was on his way. Had to threaten BBB complaint to get him there. He looked like a junkie and didn't even have tools, had to borrow MY stuff. Terrible service! Pros: none! Cons: six hours late for appointment more

"Walter" showed for my 2:00 appointment at 7:30 PM. "They" told me all afternoon someone was on their way. Kept talking to same guy who kept identifying himself as someone else (????) Very weird!!! more

I've called these guys several times, and on the times they actually or eventually showed up their work was very good. However, they usually don't show up or call, leaving you to wait ... and wonder. I finally got fed up and called another plumber who took customer service more seriously.\r \r In my opinion, not worth the frustration. more

We contacted Always Available Discount Plumbing to drop a gas line to our kitchen for our remodel. They were fast and inexpensive, however, they neglected to turn the gas back on once they were done with the job. Once the gas was turned back on, we had a massive gas leak in the home and Atmos Energy shut our gas off. We were required to get a permit from the city in order to get the leak fixed. I contacted Always Available re: the leak on a Friday since they worked on the line. (Mind you, we have no hot water at this point due to the gas being shut off.) They did not come to the house until Wednesday of the following week. The city inspector came by after the work was done to inspect and the work was not up to code. Always Available had to come back out on Wednesday afternoon to fix their issues. On Thursday morning, I was at the house and without knocking, in walks Tom, the apprentice. Our water pipe was clogged and we decided to call up these guys for help. They were WONDERFUl. They were not only fast but also reliable. Their work was cheap and they were in and out in no time. I would recommend them to anyone with plumbing problems! PROS: Fast and Cheap! CONS: more

True story. I woke up one night and my tolit had over-flowed. It was a new home we just bought and I was freaked out. So I called the first plumber in our phone book and someone actually answered. It was 2:00 am. They were so sweet and someone came out and helped us within the next 2 hours. They didn't even charge for a late night visit. Talk about a dreeam come true in the middle of a nightmare. These people are great! PROS: Cheap and nice CONS: NOTHING! more
