As retired Customer Service Representative, I greatly appreciate quality customer service. I have been a customer of Al's Oil for many years and have always been treated with kindness and consideration from everyone I have delt with for my oil delivers and payments - from the customer service staff to the deliver men. I never have a worry when I run out of oil. Being on automatic delivery, I know that whenever I run out of oil, they will be right there and ready to help! Great! more

im on automatic delivery and i have had no problems with my oil deliveries. while being very friendly, they deliver very fast and as soon as i need oil. great jobs als! more

Phenomenal! 6/10/2011

During the harsh winter we just recently got through, Al's Oil service could not make a delivery due to an inaccessible fill pipe on top of a very steep driveway. Al's Oil Service specifically made sure that we received our oil with a special truck that they had designed for the winter. Innovative, fast, and they care for their customers! 5 Stars! more

Al's Oil is out of business and no longer reliabe 3/13/2011

Al's Oil claims they are not a fair weather friend and don't provide discount service. Sadly, they now just let their customers blow in the wind and are just a poor friend that lets their long-term customers on an automatic delivery plan run out of oil. They don't even return calls on the weekend and their owner doesn't even know about the day to day operations. There isn't even an Al and some guy named Steve does't know how to manage contrancts. Hopefully, Noar's is reliable. more

Local business perfection 3/4/2011

Al's Oil is not only a wonderful local company we chose to contract with but also a good friend after they helped us out at three in the morning when we were having boiler difficulties and no heat. I would recommend Al's Oil to anyone who wants reliable service 24 hours a day while they provide some of the cheapest oil prices in the market. more

Customer Service is Excellent 2/16/2011

We have been using Al's Oil for years. We stay with Al's because they go out of their way to make us happy, no matter the circumstance, whether it is service or deliveries, or with payments. Al's has always gone over and beyond to help us. The customer service is unique to other oil companies because Al's genuinely cares about the customers and their needs. What happened to Al's oil? Horrible service! 2/3/2011

I have been with Al's Oil Service for a long time, and I have never really had a problem until now. The service is absolutely horrible. The woman was rude and unhelpful. To make a long story short, she would not let me speak to a manager nor would she tell me her name or job title, she did not care what I had to say, she kept repeating "don't yell at me", in front of her coworkers, when I asked to speak to someone other than herself, she would not allow that. So maybe its time Al's oil service re-evalutes there employees. more

I personally apologize for any rudeness. This was an extraordinary winter and we tried our best to keep our customers warm, but that is no excuse for rude service. We had a new employee this past Winter, unfortunately she did not have the temperament to handle a busy season. We tried to coach her in better customer service, but in the end we made the hard decision to let her go. We train our employees that even if the customer is yelling, we need to listen to what they are saying and try and solve their problem. It is unfortunate that one bad interaction spoils years of good service. Great service 2/2/2011

Despite the unusually deep snow accumulation resulting from all the recent snowstorms, oil was delivered to my house last week. (The snow had become frozen and difficult to shovel.) Rather than complain, Kevin, the person who delivered the oil, was friendly, understanding and efficient. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the service I received. more

Unreliable in emergency 1/25/2011

Good: For a while when first signed up the cash price was good.. Bad: Previous failures to honor their service contract. When my burner gave out they would not come out unless I pay them additional for the service although the contract said repair at no cost. They are rude and arrogant when one points out any problems. I did not renew the service contract after that. I did continue buying from them for a while after that mostly because I was too lazy to look for another company. Totally unreliable if you run out of oil, cannot get things done.. Improvements: Don't care anymore since I got the improvement by getting another oil company.. Other: At least twice recently failed to show up when promised with oil delivery and the last time wasted two days of my time (while my house was at 40F) before I gave up and got another company to come out deliver oil. They are rude and arrogant when you insist that they live to their obligations and suggest you go elsewhere if you don't like the way they run things. They think they have you over a barrel, and they do, over a barrel of oil, when you are freezing your butt off.. more

I apologize personally for any arrogant treatment. This was a difficult Winter and everyone here was working 16 hour days, still that is no excuse. The woman who spoke to you no longer works for Al's Oil. I want you to know that as soon as we heard customer complaints about her attitude we acted. As for oil deliveries, we did attempt to make deliveries to your home, but the truck could not get up your driveway due to ice. I believe that you supplied a 50 lb bag of salt, which our driver spread. Our driver also gave you his cell phone number to call when the ice melted. As for failing to show up as promised, due to the snow storms we had an abnormally large number of people who were not Automatic Delivery customers calling who ran out of oil. We prioritized deliveries that needed to be primed and restarted. I am sorry that you didn't get your oil when you expected it, but we didn't mark your ticket as a run out.

Reliable and Efficient 12/2/2010

By far some of the best service I've received; I called Al's at two-thirty in the morning due to a boiler failure (and knowing New England it get's freezing quickly) and within the half hour they had a serviceman over and the boiler was fixed in the next half hour. GREAT service more

Honest, dependable service 10/29/2010

I switched to Al's from another local dealer 5 years ago and continue to find them pleasant and honest about all matters. One year I asked about the fixed plan and was told what we all know, that nobody can predict BUT, they recommended I go with the market price. I did and WON! I appreciate the honest dealings I have had and continue to be happy with the company and service. Don more
