I wasn't blown away 8/1/2006

Yea, it was a good sandwich, but paying over 7 dollars for a sandwich is nowhere near worth it in my mind. The sandwich's taste was forgettable and, additionally, the sandwich wasn't even filling. I was still hungry when I left. That's flat out unacceptable when you're committing highway robbery for a sandwich, making people pay 7 and change. I should at least get a bag of chips or a cup of soup or something if I'm paying 7 bucks for a sandwich. I'm not going back again as I can get a cheaper and better sandwich from a chain with a bag of chips. Pros: Bearnaise Sauce, Bread are Fresh Cons: Far too Expensive, Not filling, Bizarre Hours more

Best Sandwiches in Chicago 5/18/2004

First of all, shame on you Citysearch for not having this place on your list originally. I was very suprised I had to nominate it because as a deli conniosseur (I love deli's and love finding new ones to try), this place makes the best sandwiches I've ever had. No place even comes close. Fresh bread, high-end meats, and extraordinary homemade soups. I recommend trying their roast beef croissant with swiss cheese and homemade Bernais sauce - its unbelievable! Pros: great food, excellent quality, unique atmosphere Cons: , sometimes crowded, pricey (but worth it) more
