New Furnace Install 11/11/2017

Allen Service helped me when the furnace broke. They assessed the issue and gave me options. I decided to get a new furnace as the old one was 25 years old. They brought space heaters for me for the weekend until the Monday install. All of the service people were kind and informative and very professional and courteous. The new furnace was designed specifically for my little house. They didn't try to sell me the biggest and most expensive. It's perfect. They went above and beyond what was needed. There was a hole in the attic that the old furnace was sucking cold air from that was inside the wall and undetected. They fixed that when they weren't obligated to fix that. They cleaned a return vent that was full of dust and junk. They didn't have to do that. They brought in a shop vac to get all of the dust and junk from behind the wall when they installed the new thermostat. I was amazed at all of the work they did. They explained everything I asked about and took care of me. The new furnace works like a dream and I am happy to have a nice warm home thanks to Allen Service. I will always call them for help as I trust them. Thank all of you that helped me so very much, I am grateful, happy and warm. Kathi Ann S. more

Excellent service 10/24/2017

I called on the weekend and realized I did not need an emergency call. Allen Service called me Monday and set up appt for Tuesday. They called me several times to let me know when the technicians would be available. Zack P came right on time, quickly diagnosed the leaky humidifier as the issue and was able to replace it that afternoon. I was even given a $25 discount after I could not find my discount card. Zack was cheerful, professional, explained everything he was going to do and even replaced my filter! I am so happy he was here and fixed the leak.Thank you! more

Review of Matt K, Technician 10/5/2017

I had my annual Service Check Up today with Matt K. The last 3 times I have requested Matt because he handles himself in a very professional manner and explains to me what he is doing or what he find with my furnace, water tank, air conditioner, heater, vents, plumbing....etc. He is a very good educator on explaining things. I am very pleased with Matt's visit today. I will continue to ask for Matt. I have had several techs come out from Allen Service, but Matt seems to be the right fit for me. Thank you. more

Replacing outdoor Faucet 6/20/2017

I have an older house with an outdoor faucet which had been leaking for some time. Rich Gowenlock was the Service Technician who removed and replaced the faucet. He also did a thorough review of the house plumbing and explained the various optional services and associated costs available to me. He was very professional and did an excellent job. He was very informative, explaining what we was doing and did a great job with the installation. The work was of good quality and he left the work area in a clean condition. more

Service 4/12/2017

Andrew B did a service call to check my furnace and air conditioning syatems. He was extremely helpful with all my questions about my systems. He was very professional and was able to show me problems with my furnace and then set me up with a customer service Rep. to explain my options. You are lucky to have such a person, I would like to call on him again if needed and would recommend him to neighbors. more

Service specialist Tom Prior from Allen Services 3/28/2017

Tom arrived promptly, told me who he was and why he was at my door. He used his booties when in my house. He went thru the steps he was taking to check out my furnace. Showed me the dirt on the furnace wheel and cleaned it for me. He was very courteous and seemed to really know his job. I would recommend him to others. more

Plumbing Service 2/22/2017

Today's problem was banging in the water pipes whenever we turned the water on. Alec diagnosed the problem (water pressure too high) and recommended that we install a water regulator and water pressure gauge by the main water supply. We took his advice, as we always do, and the problem is now solved. more

service maintance check and clean 2/18/2017

Zach came out on time and performed the necessary annual checks on the two furnaces and air conditioning units, plus all the plumbing including the tankless water heater. He noticed a few things that needed cleaning and a repair which I did have him complete. He did it all in a very timely and professional manner. more

Josh and Alec at Allen Plumbing are the best! 1/13/2017

I recently had a new water heater installed--a long, difficult process!--and Allen's technicians, Alec and Josh, were worthy of at least six or seven stars. Courteous and knowledgeable, they answered all of my questions in ways that I could understand. They presented all of my options clearly and honestly. I've been an Allen customer for many years, and these two thoughtful people are typical of the kind of service always provided by this fine company. more
