My air conditioning broke down on a Sunday night. With a first thing in the morning call to Allbritten, a service tech got there by 10:30. The technician, Joe P., quickly diagnosed the problem, and was completed with the entire process (diagnosing, replacement of 3 components, and invoicing by 11:35. I have done business with Allbritten since they installed my new AC/heating unit in the early 2000s. Exceptional, honest, experienced service is what I expect and this is what I receive. There was a question with the last maintenance service a few months ago but when it was re-checked, the situation was resolved and clarified after re-inspection. The staff's communication is so important and they are very good at this; have always advised me at every point in the service. I'm happy that I chose them for my AC/Heating needs and will continue to do so as long as I own my home. more

Allbritten HVAC of Fresno provided the services I needed at a reasonable price. With repairs to my household systems, I always have many technical questions because I am very interested in the types of faults, and indicated repairs. Chad took time to explain the components, and failures, and described the replacement parts. He was helpful and generous in his answers and I appreciate that. Ryan was courteous and conscientious. He adjusted the gas input to my 5 year-old furnace. My filter was clean so he left me one for my next change. He changed the battery in my thermostat. All these are standard procedures for a guardian maintenance club member. Ryan and all the technicians from Allbritten have provided great service during the past 4 years I have been a member. They arrive timely, the office calls you in advance to provide the name of the technician completing the service call. I had an emergency this fall while I was out of state. A friend who was house sitting called Allbritten re: an alarm that was beeping. It turned out the carbon monoxide detector needed a new battery. They replaced the battery and there was no charge for the service call because I am a guardian maintenance club member. It was great peace of mind for me and house sitter. more

I wasn't sure what needed to be done to my heater. It just stopped working which is scary because anything can happen. Mike S. started with the simplest and lowest cost options rather than going for the dollar signs knowing that I would not know the difference. The repair went well. Mike also took the time to educate me on the value of a regular service on the unit. He did it sharing information not trying to sell me something that is not needed. I believe he has integrity and have scheduled and appoint for the preventive maintenance. more

The sewer line was blocked between the parking strip and the main, and I also needed info on another future repair job I want to tackle. The gentleman was quite personable and professional. The latter I have come to expect as the norm from Allbritten. Anyway, the man got right to work and was able to clear the blockage quickly. The were root masses in two places, but they were not difficult to cut away. He cleaned up everything and made it look like there had never been a problem. He had also checked the line going to the house just to insure there was no blockage in that direction, and there wasn't. He surveyed my second concern, the future job, and gave me a clear sense of what estimating the project would entail, which included going under the house to assess the problem and what repairs might be needed. He quoted the price for doing that, I believe it was $63 dollars, not bad at all. I'm certain I will schedule that task for another day in the near future. Today's job came out to $169 with my $10% discount coupon. The price is a fair bit higher than it used to be in years past. I'm not too crazy about that, but I am okay with paying for the quality I get from Allbritten. I have dealt with about 4 or 5 other companies over the years and I have had service with Allbritten some 3 or 4 times for various things (sewer lines at least twice, in different directions) and I have experienced the same high quality level of service with each of the men that have shown up at my door on every occasion. Often some of the advice they give me saves me a bit of money here and there, so I end up a happy camper from the service they provide and more. more
