This POOR EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING was contracted to fix my front and back stairs, re-face the foundation of my home, install 4 basement windows and to remove and replace the front fence (entrance and driveway) and reface the driveway. He started the job around July 11, 2013 he broke up my front and back stairs, tore up the concrete in the front and along the side and back of my house and simply left. He just stuck the 4 windows in the wall - no caulk or installation, they're not level; no sills, NOTHING. Really poor work. He gave all types of excuses for not coming - a spider bite, his workers were in jail for fighting, he was busy on another job, he was on vacation (with my money of course) for over a month, but I have not heard from him since mid- August. This man left my house a wreck. We had to climb in and out of our house for the last 3 months and I paid him more than half -- $6500 for the inconvenience. All of the old fence and materials that he took out was left strewn all over my yard. The worst part of this is that he is the cousin of a friend of my son. If he does this to people that know him, I feel sorry for someone who isn't an acquaintance. BUYER BEWARE. This man is a crook of the worst kind. He has now changed his phone number but I am sure from what I have read in other complaints here and on the internet, he is doing business somewhere. His job is to STEAL from honest hard working people. Don't make the same mistake! Nobody has $6500 to be taken by deceit just like that. He should be ashamed of himself. All the MESS he made has to be redone by a reputable contractor. more

Outstanding Company. After Hurricane Sandy the fence to our backyard was damaged beyond repair. Vladimir (Owner) came to our home the day after we called them. He was right on time, & he took the time to show us several Aluminum fencing options. As we looked at other Vendors after his visit we noticed their Aluminum Fencing Product was not as thick or as sturdy as the product offered by All United (Vanguard). BTW - The All United price was also LOWER then the other three bidders we contacted. All United Fence gave us a date for removal of the damaged fencing 1/5/2013, & an install date for the new fencing of 1/7/2013. On both days, Vladimir and his team (5-6 guys) were right on time, as the removal & installation went perfectly. Our fence looks incredible!! These guys installed over 400 LF of Vanguard fencing, & they did a terrific job. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone that requires any type of fencing.\r Tommy G - Basking Ridge, NJ more

Vladimir Diaz was recommended by a neighbor whose fence he put up so we decided to go with him too. He came to the house to discuss what we wanted and measured the area for the fence. On Dec. 15, 2011 we gave him a check for $4500 which he cashed on Dec. 16. We spoke a few times. He said he got the fence but was finishing a job. Each week he said he would be here the following week. Then I called and he said he would be here soon. I waited but he didn't come. Now he doesn't even answer my calls. I called the Gemstone Fences and learned that he did put in the order in December but never paid for it or picked it up. I will try to get his license taken away - if he even is licensed. He is not trustworthy and very unbusinesslike. It has been over 3 months. I thought that doing it during this very mild winter would have been easy. more

I too was bamboozled by this poor excuse of a business man. It occured summer of 2011 right after he wrote his last response. He gave an estimate I gave a deposit end of story. When his phone is not disconnected he will answer on occasion. All adresses for this company Elizabeth, N.J Linden N.J Hillborough N.J are just a front. Either its a house or an abandoned building . Either way you have been warned don't trust this guy. he is a criminal knowingly taken money for work he had no intention on doing. He says he has proof of work its probably just as authentic as the paper he hands out for a receipt. My only regret was not searching the internet to find out more before I gave a deposit. Lesson learned THATS not gonna ever happen again. Don't trust this guy people You have been warned. more

My name is Vladimir Diaz and i am the owner of All United Fence. I have been falsely accused of theft by deception. I have had a signed contract where the customer wanted a special order fence. My contracts clearly states that there are no refunds on custom order. They decided to go forward with the job and the custom order was placed. Two weeks later the customer decided to cancel the job . We tried working with them and gave them back there full deposit of $4,000 . We have proof if you have any doubt. HILLSBOROUGH ? THEFT BY DECEPTION, Feb. 17. Vladimir Diaz, 35, of Linden, has been charged with theft by deception and failure to register as a contractor. According to an affidavit filed in Superior Court, a Hillsborough homeowner gave Diaz, of All United Fence, $4,000 to install a fence on Oct. 29, 2009. But Diaz has not started work on the fence and has not returned the money, the affidavit said. A check with the state Department of Consumer Affairs found he is not registered as a contractor, according to the affidavit. more
