Best

Fantastic family restaurant with a large selection for lunch and dinner. Everybody always talks about the orange rolls. Too bad you only get one per person. I could eat 12!!

We went in for dinner to All Steak this evening and it was delicious. We started with the black eyes pea dip at the suggestion of our server, Caleb, which was a great start. We got the Ribeye and Sirloin and they were both great and cooked perfectly. I normally order my steaks rare because they get overcooked quite often, but the medium rare that I ordered was exactly as it should be. We were thinking about getting dessert, but we didn't realize the orange rolls were complimentary, which was a nice surprise. We were too full to eat them right away, so our server boxed them up for us.\r \r The atmosphere was very pleasant and they even had a live musician playing beautiful guitar music.\r \r Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised with the outstanding food quality, the atmosphere, and the service. Don't miss it. :) more

We ate our Thanksgiving meal at The All Steak Restaurant in Cullman, Alabama. Buffet, everything was superb, we left with full & satisfied tummies. And for $20 a person, we felt that the price was incredibility reasonable. Many thanks to the ownership and the staff of All Steak Restaurant for being open on this holiday. more

A fantastic restaurant worthy of traveling the distance for! The steaks are outstanding, the ribeye and prime rib will change your desire for red meat! The cordon blu is outstanding. Salads are salads, they have an amazing raspberry vinaigrette and bacon vinaigrette. The appetizers are phenomenal! Crab claws and fried green tomatoes! They have a big appetizer with both and mayors shrimp!! And for dessert, people travel far an wide for these famous orange rolls! Almost every one leaves with an extra dozen just to take home they are so good! They sell them individually, and in bulk and cooked and uncooked!! And creme br?l?e!\r \r They moved to the new location and the atmosphere is modern and luxurious! They now serve alcohol and have a lounge area, if you hear a bad review it's because this person is to old to realize fine dining in this era, or they just are one of ""those"" customers, and you all know what I mean haha.\r \r And most of the waiters are magnificent! Granted, every restaurant has a couple of bad waiters, in the three times I've been I've had great waiters: Karen is hilarious, John is outstanding, and Jackson is my most recent favorite!!\r \r So if you're in the area, or know someone who lives in Cullman, this is the place to go! more

Good steak, great value for the money.\r Atmosphere is very welcoming. The pseudo industrial feel is well done.\r Salad was crisp and fresh. Balsamic dressing is made in house.\r Beer selection is good. Several local options and Stone IPA on draft :)\r My waitress is very friendly and attentive. more

We went for the orange rolls but also had a very good meal. Ken had the filet which was tender and had a good flavor! I had the baked cordon blue with asparagus and a baked potato-all were perfect! Salad was also fresh with what tasted like homemade dressing.\r We had not been since they moved to their own building. It created a great warm atmosphere with exposed brick walls! Overall a great experience more

Stopped in after a long drive from Nashville to Andalusia. We saw the billboard from the interstate and had to see these 'famous orange rolls' for ourself.\r \r Since we had never been (and there was an option), we opted to get the buffet.\r \r A short 10 minute wait was well worth it. The food was amazing. Grilled and fried chicken (of course we tried both), chicken casserole, bbq and all the sides, salads and desserts you can think of - everything was perfect.\r \r Great price too, around $10 a person for Sunday brunch.\r \r Oh and those orange rolls will rock your world. more

Salad with house dressing was good. Dressing is very strong vinaigrette that I enjoyed. Small filet was bacon wrapped, good flavor, did need a bit of salt. Cooked perfect and was tender. Orange roll was sweet and good ending, not world famous but good. Prices were very reasonable for a nice meal. Decor was very pleasant attractive. It was also not too loud. Surprised to find this in Cullman would go again. more

My wife and I live in a neighboring county and we probably eat there every couple of months. The food is usually excellent and the atmosphere is excellent. The orange rolls are great. more

We were traveling and stayed in Cullman overnight. The restaurant was very pretty inside! The wife and I both had the special of the night. Catfish blackened and I had fried! Garlic mashed potato's were tasty. Orange rolls after were quite tasty. The owner came by to check on us and told us that they cut their own steaks, which is great! Prices were good and the service was as well. more

Best steak I have eaten outside my own kitchen! No ""special rubs"" just great tasting angus beef. If you are traveling I-65 through Alabama, bypass all the Logans, Outbacks, Applebees, etc and hold out for exit 308. My husband and I both had the 14 oz Ribeye, medium rare mmmmm! Nothing on it but salt and pepper. That particular saturday afternoon the chef was dead on!! Medium Rare is not always easy to accomplish.\r We had an appetizer of their onion rings, made on-site. They know something about making onion rings too! Large rings. Save room for their ""free"", yes FREE famous orange roll at the end of the meal.\r We were not disappointed in any part of the dining experience. Waitress was most accommodating and helpful, food fantastic and price excellent. Our total bill was $62, including tip. Not a single regret. more

This place had the best cornbread rolls I have ever had, as well as the salad. The steak was really good, but a tad dry in the middle. Last, but certainly not least was the dessert orange rolls. I didn't want to swallow it, it was so goood! more

We're from Birmingham but I had had lunch there several times and it was good. This place has been in business for 90 years so you know it's got to be pretty nice. We were entertaining friends and wanted go somewhere a little bit different with great food. I was nervous. Lunch is one thing but a high end tenderloin is another. Atmosphere is nonexistent but this meal was truly fit for a king. Each couple had the Chateaubriand for two. It came with the world. After a small salad, a plate you could sit on contained not only the best tenderloin we've ever had but cheese tomatoes, pearl onions, rice with mushrooms and asparagus. Their signature orange rolls were also delicious. At $42.50 per couple, I left a 30 % tip. It's loud and saturday night was crowded but we were in and out in 85 minutes, including coffee. It was worth the dry county. Great food and service is so rare, I had to write this more

I usually get a large ribeye, but for first-timers I recommend the All Steak sampler which comes with stuffed shrimp, grilled fish, 6oz steak, and a crabcake. The orange rolls are awesome. more

I have eaten in some very nice restaurants in Atlanta, Nashville and Chicago. Their food was excellent, the service impressive and the atmosphere was grand. But in our little town, fine dining is a rare treat. The new location of All Steak is warm and inviting from the minute you walk in the door. I have had lunch and dinner there on several occasions and I have been pleased with everything from the food, the servers and the overall feeling of the restaurant. I would be pleased to take my son, who is a chef working in downtown Chicago at a prestigious dining establishment to All Steak and be assured he would be properly impressed. more

Had the best dinner experience @ the new location with Karen (my new favorite waitress) last night. Yummy & gorgeous new venue. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/4/2014

Allsteak may be in a new location but their cuisine has stepped up in taste & quality rather than declined as stated in other reviews. Several visits are required to adequately judge a restaurant's overall performance & my experiences have proven to me Allsteak is even better than before they moved! The latest trip I sampled baked parmesan chicken, fried okra, squash casserole & field peas. Sadly there was no room for the featured dessert, peanut butter cake, but the ageless perfection of a gooey orange roll was mandatory as the finish to a most excellent meal. The staff was quick, attentive & friendly which was a step above staff behavior in their old rooftop location. Return to the new Allsteak is assured! more
