All Steak Restaurant

We, a party of 6, went to the new location of the All Steak restaurant at prime supper time. I called ahead and had our names on the list, so that we walked in the door, and onward to a table in no time flat.\r The new location's ambiance is lovely, though i have to say that the artwork is rather bland.Cullman has some fantastic local artists, why not get original artwork? But I digress...\r Let me preface my food evaluation by saying that I have eaten the food at the All Steak all my life, quite literally. I knew the old, original location, the top-o-the bank location, and now this. We had stopped going to the top of the bank location not long after the newest owners took over--the service and food had become sub-par to what it used to be. The only constant was the orange rolls. We, however, decided to give the newest incarnation a chance, and were very pleasantly surprised. The server was attentive and pleasant, and did not reach across my plate to do her job, as others had been prone to do (my pet peeve.) The menu has changed drastically from the previous locations. I know that many (including some in our party) lament this, but lets face it, the menu had not received an update since the 1970s. It was outdated and it's time had come and gone. I had the osso bucco, others in my party had the prime rib and hamburger steak. The osso bucco was fantastic, one of the best things I have ever eaten at the All Steak. It was tender, had a wonderful flavor, and the mashed potatoes with it were lovely. The prime rib was everything you expect the All Steak's prime rib to be--some fat, good flavor. The orange rolls were perfect, of course. We will definitely give the new location more tries, to see if they are able to keep this up! more

The menu has had quite a make over, providing savory new options. I must say the desserts include creme brule, homemade cheesecake, and a banana pudding parfait. Of course the famous orange rolls are here to stay. The servers and kitchen staff have made major improvements to enrich the guests experience. I suggest All Steak if you are in the Cullman area. more

All Steak is known for those Orange Rolls. They are simply fantastic. Located upstairs in a bank building, All Steak is a nice restaraunt in Cullman. They have a very good selection of food too. (I mean where else can you find Beef Wellington?)\r \r All Steak delivers quality food but at a price. Food here costs but you get good food for your money. I have to say I like this place and if you want to have a nice family dinner or get together with friends, All Steak is your place. Don't let the name fool you though as there is more than steak on the menu. more

This is a very nice restaurant. It is a little expensive though. The food is really good. The steaks are awesome. They have these really grreat orange rolls. more

I used to eat at the All Steak Restaurant every week when I worked in Cullman. Now I do not get to eat there that often but it is very good. I love going just for the orange rolls. They are homemade and are about the best things I have ever eaten. The food is reasonably priced and the service is good. more

Fantastic family restaurant with a large selection for lunch and dinner. Everybody always talks about the orange rolls. Too bad you only get one per person. I could eat 12!! more

No visit to Cullman is complete without a visit to All Steak. This family owned restaurant draws people from all over. It offers a wide variety of reasonably priced entrees but is best known for its orange rolls -- served with every meal. more
