We're from Birmingham but I had had lunch there several times and it was good. This place has been in business for 90 years so you know it's got to be pretty nice. We were entertaining friends and wanted go somewhere a little bit different with great food. I was nervous. Lunch is one thing but a high end tenderloin is another. Atmosphere is nonexistent but this meal was truly fit for a king. Each couple had the Chateaubriand for two. It came with the world. After a small salad, a plate you could sit on contained not only the best tenderloin we've ever had but cheese tomatoes, pearl onions, rice with mushrooms and asparagus. Their signature orange rolls were also delicious. At $42.50 per couple, I left a 30 % tip. It's loud and saturday night was crowded but we were in and out in 85 minutes, including coffee.
