We bought top-of-the-line computer with ""military grade"" parts from AllPCZone on the 10/24/2011 for 2203$. On 11/08/2011 we had first catastrophic failure and lost all our data....

Stay far away from All PC Zone.\r \r ***\r \r Rebuttal to their rebuttal: \r \r I had proof of registration for the card. All PC Zone selected the card and thus the manufacturer. All PC Zone selected PNY. If their card supplier won't honor the warranty, then All PC Zone should make it right. BTW, by the time it failed, the card was a $75 card. All PC Zone and ""go f yourself"" Edward wouldn't replace a $75 component after their supplier wouldn't replace it under the terms of the warranty.\r \r A recurring problem, from day 1, was the video card failing because something was loose on the motherboard. When the monitor won't show the video, I press down on the external audio jacks to tighten whatever is loose. Then the monitor shows the video. All PC Zone never addressed the problem.\r \r ***\r \r Long story short - a PNY video card in the machine (2008 purchase) supposedly had a 5 year warranty if I registered it. I registered it. The card failed in 2012. PNY claimed it had never been registered. Edward from All PC Zone (via email) said he'd check in to it. A week later no word from Edward and no answers to my emails. I called, finally spoke to him. He was arrogant and rude, telling me "let's get the system up and running, go buy a video card." He told me how valuable his time is. I blew my top, telling him my time is valuable. He replied ""go f youself!"". All PC Zone doesn't stand by the customer. They placed the PNY card in the PC. When PNY wouldn't honor their warranty a good company in All PC Zone's position would take up the slack rather than tell a customer""go f yourself"". BTW, Edward finally did check with PNY and then Ed sent emails reminding me how busy he is, reminding me of the wonderful work he does, and gloating that PNY wouldn't honor the warranty. more

This review (where I state my opinions and feelings only) is for anyone who is considering buying from AllPcZone or ComputerLx.com. They might have good prices but you won't necessarily get what you order and pay for, and I think you will regret it if you buy from them like I did.\r \r I'm talking blue screens, not getting what I paid for, and being told the guy is ""offended"" that I complained about getting a broken computer. They won't take it back.\r \r Read their terms of service: even if they send you a broken computer you can only get 80% of your money back. They will keep the remaining 20%, even though that appears to violate the laws based on my reading of them. Maybe they think they're above the law?\r \r They made it real clear to me that their ""money back guarantee"" is only 80% of what you pay, and had the nerves to tell me it wasn't even broken, it just wasn't working, or something to that effect.\r \r If you search around, you will see a lot of the exact same reviews scattered across the internet (like ""Wow!"", etc.) They are identical reviews and always praise this multimillion dollar business. I think they are ""fakes"" made by these guys. The sad truth is below.\r \r This company appears to be defending themselves against accusations, as an informed consumer the question you should ask is, why are there so many upset customers that have bought from this company that they need to defend themselves so much? Each time they defend themselves they present it as if it's an isolated incident where the customer is at fault.\r \r Their customer support appears to have been accused of trying to blackmail people, if you search around you can see them threatening to say ""RUN AWAY..."" from one guy's business in various reviews, unless he revised his negative review about them or something. Sounds like a very shady place, in my opinion. They've even been accused oft trying to ruin their customers, like try to get them fired or destroy their business if they don't change their review.\r \r Is that risk worth it to you?\r \r So I ordered a computer from them and they didn't give me what I paid for, but still charged me for what I asked for. They made an inferior substitution of one of the components, a cheap substitution, while still charging me full price. Although they eventually admitted that they made this mistake they didn't send me any money for the difference, but wanted me to pay shipping (at least one way) to get the correct part.\r \r So I think I was definitely cheated by them, it's like you order 2 pizzas with extra cheese and they charge you for it then when you get them you see there's no extra cheese, and they say ""yeah we admit our mistake but you can't have a refund because of what our purchasing contract says.""\r \r Maybe they would make it right if I agreed to pay for their mistake by paying shipping (one way) for the wrong part. But I'm over it now, I just don't want anyone else to suffer like I did. I mean the computer wasn't stable, it would crash every hour (sometimes more frequently) when I got it!\r \r So this business likely has 5-10 employees, it's a multimillion dollar business. I think it's Edward Thornton who keeps saying how ""shocked"" he is when I complain about not getting what I paid for. more

This is a rebuttale for a review left by F. Cabanski:\r \r Mr. Cabanski purchased a computer from us in 2008. In December 2012 - 3 years after his part warranty with us had expired he had contacted us and advised that his video card had failed. He was fully aware that his warranty was expired with AllPczone however he demended a replacement: his reasoning was that the video card had a 5 year PNY (card manufacturer) warranty if it was registered through PNY after he had made his purchase - he claimed he registered however PNY has no record of him registering his card - he advised since AllPcZone installed a PNY card - and PNY declined his warranty request that we should be fully responsible for his replacement - the fact that his direct part replacement warranty with AllPcZone ran out in 2009 did not matter for Mr. Cabanski - we declined - he left us this review.\r \r Michael Sol\r CS Coordinator\r AllPcZone\r more

Wow! I can't say enough for the quality of Computerlx's product and service. I was helped by a fellow named Gene over the phone, and he made the experience of building my first custom PC enjoyable and rewarding. Gene helped me upgrade my computer to fit my budget, and even helped me save money where I could. I've been using the computer that we built for a week now and it's screaming fast and does just what I had hoped for and more. I plan on building a computer for the office in the near future and it will definitely be through Computerslx! more

Decent company 2/5/2012

Delivery was much faster than expected. Placed order after hours on a Wed night and received the computer by Sat. Computer runs as fast as expected. Somewhat dissapointed that Tech support is only during work hours, Monday to Friday. I had some problems downloading my antivirus software (did not buy from CompurerLX)and some updates when first tried the computer and could not get support cause it was a Saturday. Turned out the problem was with my home router and not the new computer (I figured that out after a couple of hrs of frustration) but it does bring out the point that if I ever need support for real will need to take some time off from work or work it out via e-mail. Still, I am satisfied with this purchase. more

Excellent service from Allpczone 2/2/2012

I do not have strong enough words to describe just how good of a deal I got or especially just how good the followup and support is!!!! I made a mess by installing programs wrong, it does not matter, the support team will stay on the phone with you for hours if neccessary. Which is what they did with me. Very knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. I have reccomended All PCZone to my friends and the people that I work with, and I would highly reccomend them to you. This is an A+ out fit! more

AllPcZone - Great Company with awesome service!!! 2/1/2012

I am 14 years in the field of IT, and this is the first time when I decided to buy my PC not from one of the big companies like Dell and HP. My last experience with HP customer support was just terrible. I searched on line and found AllPCZone-ComputerLX, and never regretted it. Order was fulfilled in a timely manner. All my questions were answered with the best knowledge and fast. PC was customized to all my needs. Computer came in overnight delivery in great condition, professionally and safely packed. It?s a great machine. Works very fast. Thank you very much AllPCZone! more

Allpczone Provided Excellent Service 1/29/2012

The overall experience was pretty good. Loved the prices of the systems as have been a lifer in the gaming venue. Loved the ease in which to put togehter my system. Only had one beef. The beef was in the delivery, as I did order a monitor in the same invoice, but the system and monitor were shipped seperately, and apparently from different locations. The problem it created was that I got he system then had to wait a whole week for the monitor. Since I was going from a laptop to a desktop, I did not have an extra monitor. Imagine the aggravation in an awesome system sitting their with no monitor. Was like sitting outside a locked candy store with extra cash, hehe. Anyways, the system is all geared up and is awesome. more

Stay away from AllPCZone 1/3/2012

We bought top-of-the-line computer with ""military grade"" parts from AllPCZone on the 10/24/2011 for 2203$. On 11/08/2011 we had first catastrophic failure and lost all our data. AllPCZone sent us another hard drive for replacement with instructions how to install. After successful installation we had another catastrophic failure in less than a month (01/02/2012). No any configuration changes were made by us at any point of time. The computer is the ""lemon"". We want full refund in this case and company refuses to do this. Instead, company accuses us for hardware failures. We are in computer business for more than 20 years (me and my wife) and very well understand that the problem is in the quality of the product. Apparently, their advertisements about ""military grade"" components are far from reality. From internet research we saw unhappy customers of AllPCZone with similar problem. more
