Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Meticules Movers 5/25/2011

Ronnie showed up at my little studio literally within 3 minutes of their appointed time. The two of them moved my stufft in just under two hours, no lie. They were polite, strong, to the point and professional all around. At the far end of my move, Ronnie asked about some damage to my bookcase, which I explained was likely there long before, seeing as how I was the 3rd owner of the CraigsList item. Still, good attention to detail. I had budgeted for at least 3 or 4 hours for the move, based on previous moves, and so I tipped these guys real well. I had offered cold drinks at either end, but they were simply all about getting the job done. God forbid I have to move again, I'm calling these guys. more

Couldn't ask for more 5/20/2011

All American Van Lines was great. We hired them to help us load our rental truck for a move across the country. My primary concerns were a) getting a good rate, b) getting a reputable, insured company and c) making sure my stuff was packed well for the long journey. I was able to get a frank estimate via email (something which few moving companies seemed willing to do) and the in-home inspection was convenient and quick. Come the day of the move we got two dudes who were able to pack our truck with minimal intervention on my behalf and I'm happy to say the stuff got across country without incident! As an added bonus, the guys were cool and Irish (can't beat that)! Definitely recommend! more

Couldn't ask for more 5/20/2011

All American Van Lines was great. We hired them to help us load our rental truck for a move across the country. My primary concerns were a) getting a good rate, b) getting a reputable, insured company and c) making sure my stuff was packed well for the long journey. more

Efficient Moving Operations 5/19/2011

Efficient operations by All American Van Lines . Frazer moved me from SF to Sacramento (split between a storage location and a home) and did a fantastic job. There was a minor snafu in communication around sending him my manifest and getting a revised estimate (somehow my email didn't get to him) which lead to the job costing slightly more than I had anticipated. However, given the already reasonable rate and the great attitude shown by Frazer and the other 2 guys that moved me I had no complaints about them. Not to mention they were lightning fast, careful and very creative. For example, my couch is a major hassle to get down the stairs. I remember it was almost impossible to get it up them in the first place. They figured this out in about 2 minutes and within 5 minutes had it roped and over my 3rd floor balcony and down to the driveway below. Awesome. \r \r Highly recommended. more

What an awesome first time mover experience 5/19/2011

Good god.... ! Much like everyone else, this was our first time using movers company. we're recommend them to everyone we know! From the first communications we had with the company to the hand-shake with our movers at the end of the day, everything was a positive experience. The movers were on time, they assessed our items and adjusted our 3.5 hour estimate to 4 hours, which we were fine with because our amount of things went up slightly from our initial estimate we gave to the company. The movers spent the next 15 minutes or so figuring out the best ways to pack in the large items, and then slot the smaller boxes around them...and then it was on. more

They totally ROCK!!!! 5/18/2011

I can't say enough good things about these movers. They were super duper professional. When they showed up they went over everything with me. They were very thorough with everything from breaking down my bed, shrink wrapping my mattresses, secured items I had packed myself, they even packed my clothes in a wardrobe box from their own supplies. The whole move took an hour start to finish. They are very careful with all your items I was referred to them by a friend and I just referred them to someone else. I will never move anything by myself again they will be the first people I call when I need to move. The office staff is very professional as well. I worked with Gary he was very thorough with me. more

I'm still finding it difficult to believe that I have moved four times to, within and out of the city during the past three years. All American Van Lines moved me during two of those four times and I'm very pleased by there friendly and professional service. Highly recommended. more

What a great company!!! Their prices are probably the best I have seen. They made numerous stops to pick up a couch for me and also my friend's stuff along the way to our new place and I think most movers would be complaining and charging you extra but they did not. What a great company!!! Their prices are probably the best I have seen. Dependable Movers 5/14/2011

The guys (three) showed up right in the middle of the two-hour arrival window, which was great. They were friendly, worked fast and hard, and had my downtown studio moved into a storage unit. in a little over two hours -- from arrival at the apartment to locking up the storage unit. Not a thing was broken or scratched nor was anything in the apartment or building common areas damaged (which was important to me since the building manager is a rage-aholic who sits perched in his window or at the CCTV monitors ready to race out of his apartment and pop another blood vessel in his eyes). I was very ready with everything boxed but they took proper care with wrapping my furniture, which was the only thing I had not done ahead of time. I tipped a hundred bucks because they worked their butts off and made the process so easy and hassle-free. more

I used All American Van Lines about a week ago for a move and can't be more satisfied! We got estimates from 2 companies and All American Van Lines came in lower by about $300. Besides the economic aspect, the owner, Ronnie, seemed to really know what he was doing. He just had to look around and could tell about how many boxes it would be and how long it would take. The other company was very meticulous during the estimate, but in a way that made me think they needed to be because they weren't quite sure about things. On the day of my move, the guys from All American Van Lines (3 of them) showed up exactly on time and cleared out boxes upon boxes upon boxes from my living room within about 30 minutes!! I was completely awed at the amount of boxes they balanced ON THEIR BACKS! All in all, I was VERY happy with the movers. With one nightmare exception of having my stuff held hostage by a company after a cross-country move, I have never hired movers before and will never NOT hire any movers again except for All American Van Lines I would highly recommend All American Van Lines to all. more

Great company to move with 5/9/2011

Last weekend we moved some of the heavy items from my parents please to a two bedroom apartment (3rd fl) as my parents decide how they'll like to remodel their San Francisco Edwardian which they have lived in since 1968.\r \r Forty plus years they've collected a lot of stuff. I've heard from friends that All American Van Lines is professional, fast, and reasonably priced. I gave Ronnie a call and arrange an appointment and set the date. The three man crew arrived on time loaded the truck, helped with some minor packing, and unloaded everything where we needed it all within three 1/4 hrs. This was the best $535.00 + $100 tip I've ever spent. Gotta tip the movers. Awesome job! All American Van Lines are my movers.. more
