All about sales, not service. The installer said someone would be out to go over the instructions. Never happened. I contacted the company; they said the installer was supposed to go over the equipment. No invoice, no warranty, no followup after the $1,000 sale. Contacted owner who raved about his Internet salesman - that's the guy who dropped the ball. Owner pulled the old, ""What do you want me to do about it?"" How about some complimentary salt for the substandard service? Shame on this company. more

I called them 2 years ago about soot in toliet bowl. Alberts said it was a problem with my public water. After finally calling another company (advanced water) due to Albert calling me a ""problem Customer"". Advance Water told me over the phone that it was the charcoal breaking down in system. They came out and removed old charcoal and resin, replaced it with new. Soot in toliet is no longer an issue. (Alberts knowningy allowed us to shower/bath/brush teeth in this dirt without a care for our safety) Unfortunately I had to pay $185.00 which should have been covered under Albert's so called warrenty 5 year -100% part/labor. This is the 2nd time I had to have my machine repaired through a different company because Alberts chose to ignore our phone calls and request. Other company did not charge us the first time for tightening a few screws and replaced rubber washer. Unless you order the salt from Alberts, they will not service you. Their salt had too much dirt in it for us to warrent using. Would not recommend Alberts at all! Pros: GE system good now that another company fixed it Cons: alberts does not honor warrenty more
