My wife and I were driving through this area, which is kind of a no mans land for food. Surprisingly, there are relatively few places that offer outdoor dining.\r \r Then I remembered that, attached to the Diplomat hotel were a couple places across the road that had dining overlook the Intercoastal waterway. I think I had eaten, or at least had a drink, when I was staying at the Diplomat at a conference a few years ago.\r \r That should have been the warning. When I was at a conference, without a car, more or less trapped. Within a mile or two of some great food, but nothing within walking distance. \r \r Aizia is nothing more than a hotel restaurant, and a bad one at that. Serves entirely average, if not below average, Asian fusion type food at very high prices. All attitude and atmosphere, but a culinary mess. more

Wouldn't know....Husband was ambushed at the door for wearing shorts, besides the fact that he looked gorgeous. Interestingly enough though, they let a woman in shorts in who was right behind us. Their loss...I'll spend my money elsewhere. more

Attractive venue, but that's where the positives stop. Gave off a nightclub vibe in ways. They would probably be better off with that. Customer service and the food was not their strengths. Server seemed put out several times. Odd, because she was barely busy. Service was cold, slow and impersonal. The food was barely okay for what you paid and would expect. Example was a seared scallop app. Presentation was overkill for the result - 4 scallops - wait, four halves of scallops. Yes, they split them to I guess save. I felt like I was robbed. Had an Asian noodle dish and paid again to add the shrimp option. Again, 4 shrimp, but they were also cut in half. I thought it was a joke. Not a bad night out, just a place that doesn't care about your experience. more

The manager Travis Armer was very helpful how ever a free drink was not enought to cover the untruth that the reservation agent for a saturday evening dinner being spoilt, we rushed over to keep our res. only to find that they did indeed have enough seats outside to last them till 9pmi was at the desk and walk in were shown to our table with no res. . I would stay away from the incompitent hostess`and staff. with the biggest chip on every shoulder. Just my opinion I have booked the Westin many times for conventions. I will never let my guests be subjected to such a lack of concern for their patrons as the Aiziawhy would i want to put any one in the position of summoning the manager on a simple matter of common courtesy, shame on you with your undertrained staff. You can do better. more

We walked into this place and it was dead, but we decoded to have a cocktail and if there were good then we would have dinner . The cocktails were in fact delish, the sake Rita to be exact. The Asian blt was awesome. Cocktails a little pricey but food was priced right.service always good. more

Hosets was a little rude. Service at the inside bar was very slow even though there were only a few people at the bar. Atmosphere was good outside, but a couple did come to the inside bar saying they could not get service outside. Once we sat at our table the service remained slow. The food was good and well presented, but I expect better service for the price. more

A gang of 4 of us decided sushi for dinner. The appetizers were fantastic! The asian blt was something new for me - steamed buns fill with asian bbq goodness with a bit of zip. And the kona coffee rubbed beef satay was something next to extraordinary.\r \r Each of us had much different selections of sushi, and no one was disappointed. Plus, the price for the 4 of us with full bellies and no drinks was only about $140. I'll go there again! more
